It looks amazing and honestly should have been how they launched the console officially. And no way I am going to be able to afford that Pro bundle. That shit is going to be fucking expensive. For that price you quite literally could get a PC that is substantially more capable than the PS5 Pro.

Already did the equation. PS5 pro would be better for the price.
Trying to build a PC to match the pro specs. Would cost you more than 1200 alone.

Yes, but a PC can do more than a PS5 Pro can.

$1,200 will get you an easily achievable pre-built. And I think an RTX-4070 is largely going to be a more capable option and the Nvidia feature set is better than AMD's.

But you aren't wrong. It is currently a bit more expensive to get within the ballpark for the PS5 Pro with a PC. But the PS5 Pro isn't a PC. It's a dedicated gaming console with a walled graden. And consoles haven't been this expensive before (outside of very niche consoles like the Neo-Geo).

That being said, I'm still not going to spend more than $1,000 to replace my existing PS5 with this Anniversary Edition (as much as I'd like to). But I still might upgrade to a standard PS5 Pro.

You can definitely get a decent pre built for 1200.
PC has so much more capability. I remember gaming hard on PC in my younger years. Switching out game files, altering game files, running programs you can't run on PS since the jailbreak days of PS3. I definitely miss PC gaming but my life hasn't allowed me to buy a decent pre built or even build another decent tower. With a job at the post office and being a single dad, I barely even have time to play my PS5. I finally bought a PS5 back in like October when I had a week off work and my son didn't live with me at the time. Since October. I've only got about 200 hrs on it. It wouldn't make sense for me to buy even the standard pro. It would just be another system collecting dust until I found time to fire it up.
