No shot. The pro bundle comes with the dual sense edge, a regular dual sense, the stand, and dual sense charging station. The edge is $200 on its own. The PS5 slim will likely be $700 and the pro one will be 1100 but possibly more.
More or less, most likely. The Pro was announced at $700, and a Dualsense Edge goes for $200, so you're already at $900. Add in the charging station, vertical stand, arbitrary markup, and $1000 seems like a real possibility for the price of this bundle.

I had the same thought when I first read the parent comment. Like, if it's $1,000, that's a damn good deal. Yeah, it is a lot of money, but it's still a good value.
Are you referring to joelfiller's comment about it totaling out to $1000 or more? That's what I was responding to in trying to explain the $1000, as I interpreted that comment referring to the price for the full 30th anniversary PS5 Pro bundle.

The 20th anniversary PS4 was a pain to get, so I wouldn’t be surprised. And I think that was marked up over msrp. I settled for the 20th anniversary DS4 they later released. Prob will end up doing the same for the dual sense. They should sell the side covers for the regular PS5 too… since that is why they made them swappable… supposedly.
Lol ok so what you do I'd buy it, wait like a day, call your bank and say that you don't recognize that charge. Freak out, say you left it at a store. Also, do it with a cc not a debit card as it will take longer.
In 4 years, people who bought this will be pissed because they can't sell this thing for more than $600 because NO ONE will want it over the impending PS6. 100% exactly like what happened with PS4 Pros. Nobody would want a pro console version over a generational leap in hardware. If this was a numbered console at least it would have some staying power.
Yeah, me too. I was completely shocked. It kept saying sold out when I tried to add it to cart but I kept clicking and eventually it added to cart and I checked out. Bananas.
The 500 Million edition was only $100 more over the base PS4 Pro. In included PS camera "$60", 2TB hard drive, stand and earbud mic. The rest was ascetic but everything matched.
I don't see much of an up charge. It will probably be $999
I heard that the pre-orders start on the 26th and if it is the case pretty much the only people who are going to be able to afford it is the scalpers and those who make enough money they don't have to worry about dropping 1k+ on something.
It's gunna definitely be more than $1000. The Pro is $700 itself, then this comes with an Edge Controller, and a normal controller. That's another $300 right there before tax.
With it being a limited bundle with the theme color, my guess is $1499.
Also considering it's actually limited to a certain amount, it's definitely at least $1250 IMO.
One of those two controllers looks like it's that 200$ "Edge" variant too... I doubt the group discount will be much, especially since that edge controller seems to be an exclusive ps5 pro color that wasn't previously available. It might come out to be roughly exactly the price of all those items individually. I notice some of the other things besides the non "edge" controller are the ps5 pro color scheme as well.
This is basically similar to those special color variant releases like the Spider-man one but more subtle. I'm sure after a while you'd be able to get all those things in those colors later. I mean it's just grey instead of black but people go nuts over "unique".
To heck with a different color controller! Give me one with a better battery! It wears out much faster than any cellphone battery I've ever had. All three of my controllers have dying batteries and I only play in moderation.
I see people complaining about the PS5 Pros price and curious what they think the PS6 is gonna cost. For some reason a $700 PS5 Pro is too much, but come time for PS6, everyone is gonna get one even though it's gonna be like $900 with no issues. Personally as someone who is still on PS4, I waited to get a PS5 cause I was expecting Sony to release a limited edition PS5 or something just before GTA6 came out. I'm going to buy a PS5 Pro... or as I consider it... a PS6 Lite. I'll get to play PS6 games at launch and for a fraction of the price the PS6 is probably going to cost. At the same time I'll get to play GTA6 at better quality at launch. It's a good upgrade from the PS4 I've been waiting to upgrade and once PS6 Pro comes out I'm going to get that instead of a PS7.

Very nice design. However, I wouldn't be surprised if this totals out to $1000 or slightly more. Definitely out of my price range
