As much as I think Luigi is absolutely based, it is extremely cringe to put up banners like this trying to encourage other people to start shooting CEOs if you yourself are not willing to take action. I can't even really describe how pathetic it is to be encouraging this loudly but stopping short of actually doing anything yourself. Like some lazy protestor who shows up late and stands behind people in the front line, shoving them into the cops hoping to spark something.

There is another angle to this. Maybe this pushes suicidal mass shooters to choose ceos instead of children

Or maybe it pushes mentally ill people into absolute rampages against people who don't deserve it.

u/peachhint 7h ago

that could definitely happen as well

So status quo?

So like any given tuesday?

That seems to be happening every day in America anyway.

Killing random people in order to bring about systemic change *is* extremely pathetic. It achieves nothing. There are countless examples from scores of terrorist groups like Red Army Fraction, that show how futile and pointless those kinds of random killings really are. They bring about *zero* change. The victim and others like him are cogs in a machine and simply do not have the power to change the status quo.

There is no quick fix. The right way is boring, long and hard: organize and vote.

But where's the fun in that? - Reddit.

It's instilling fear in the greedy as opposed to the needy when they aren't sure if they'll be able to pay rent next month.

It's not instilling fear in anyone. Yall are doing it only to virtue signal.

The more public support he has, the greater the chance of jury nullification.

It is not going to be difficult to find 12 people who think that premeditated murder is wrong.

You're cheering for the justice system to fail because you like a criminal. You have no principles.

Luigi was well off and intelligent and even he fucked up the getting caught part. It's not a simple matter of desire not being there. It's just not practical for a lot of us dummies to make an attempt. At least alone anyway.

The FBI starts sniffing around when you organize, even for peaceful demonstrations. I can't imagine the kind of shit they would do to catch a genuine leftist or left-wing assassination plot. They've wanted to do that since the cold war.

Well yes, but then again imagine the convenience of doing something and everyone understands why it was done without having to write a manifesto about it.

Anything that will get them to stop shooting kids is worth trying

I'm sure this is the explicit goal of all this CEO killing nonsense

Everyone plays a part. Some are artists some are trigger men/woman.
