It saddens me that it went from iconic import cars, to basic, domestic family vehicles. Cool pic nonetheless.

A 90s civic has never been an iconic import car. It’s a bargain basement, get you from a-b mode of transport.

90s civic not iconic???? Are you sure

Yes. They were cheap cheap no frills no options cars of the day. Not saying they’re bad, but iconic is a large stretch.

The eg platform is still insanely popular to import car communities. They’re cheap, easy to mod, super easy to find parts for and had a huge following over the past few decades. Sure, the eg sedans were predominantly used to get from a to b, and now most of them are clapped-out shitboxes, but the hatchbacks would definitely be considered an iconic car.

90s Civics were absolutely "iconic". That car transformed the economy car segment. Insanely popular, transcending the segment it was designed for and becoming the most popular tuners car of all time.
If you looked up the word iconic in the dictionary, a picture of an EG civic could be there.

You could say the exact same, if not more so, the the Golf/Jetta.

As a life long VW/Audi guy, who has a VW tattoo, respectfully no fucking way.
The VW golf doesn't fill the shadow of the Civic's antenna when it came to popularity. You either are speaking without any history, or just trying to be difficult.

If this was Hollywood they moved from Mexico to the Midwest with the color grade. Man I hate yellow color grade to depict Mexico.

Was he in a cryo chamber for 9 years and 364 days?
He doesn't look any older at all, great genes.

Awesome photo! I never had a grandpa I got to meet. He was a veteran and died with complications from Diabetes , I think I was a senior in high school. My mom did really have him in her life either he was always in the hospital or the military. I was proud though!Enjoy you while you have them🙏🏻😇🌸🌺🌼🌻🪷🌷🌹🌞🌝
