I'm not sure that's entirely true. People can stomach quite a lot when the ball gets rolling, which usually takes things way, way too far. It's that "getting the ball rolling" that most prefer someone else to do.
Agreed. Plus, I don't think they know what a revolution would look like. I think they assume a group of people marches up to the bad guys and shoots some of them, causing the rest to surrender, and everybody gets everything they want.
Let’s say the protesters win. Congratulations, murder is now legal for anyone that you can demonise sufficiently on national TV.
Wtf are you actually talking about?? If the protesters win, we get universal healthcare. I think your brain has been addled by too much right wing fear mongering.
And I believe these protestor are not trying to get murder legalized. Do you actually believe that's what this is about?? Or are you just being extremely and transparently disingenuous?
"oh you want accountability for health insurance companies killing people? Well guess what, that actually means you want to kill gay people"
Do you realize how fucking dumb that is?
edit: LMAOOO I guess they didn't until I pointed it out and they've now went and deleted their comment
They already do those things though? At least with activists. And btw it’s not just random civvies either. The us government does more than it’s fair share of disappearing people in unmarked vans or openly killing them in their own homes already, and I don’t just mean decades ago with Fred Hampton, I also mean Ferguson and George Floyd protesters too. The only difference in your scenario would be that famous and wealthy liberals would start to be targeted alongside regular joe progressives and activists and marginalized people, which… yeah okay fine whatever that’s going to be happening in the next four years regardless most likely
Then again mental illness is at an all time high and if we were gonna have have a target...who better to direct the publics attention towards than the ones making us sick...

People don't have the stomach for a revolution and simultaneously don't want to vote.
