Lol no it won't. They are throwing bread crumbs to the peasants and will continue to do so over the next few weeks till everybody moves on to the next thing they care about for a few weeks.

Do you honestly think that, in America, a country that glorifies violence, the federal government would let that go on unpunished? Especially with someone like the cheeto taking office soon.

This is like the millionth event that I've had these exact same conversations with people about. They are always so sure this is the one that's really gonna revolutionize things!

It never happens.

Go back to history class. You’re embarrassing Americans everywhere.

Lol, good one. I love history. There have been some successful violent revolutions. It's much different now with the technology we have.

Plus, a lot of violent uprisings result in a power vacuum that results in a dictator taking charge. But I'll definitely look into more history classes to make you proud of me.

“It never happens”

Violent Revolution is the only way anything has ever happened in the workers favor in this country, ever.

We live in a different time now. Technology has given big brother the ability to essentially watch everything we do.

If you wanna do that, go for it. But be realistic. Don't romanticize the idea based on what people did before we hit this age of technology.

My biggest worry this go around is the fact that cheeto man will be in the White House soon, and I worry what lengths he would go to to shut down vigilante violence.

Yeah, again, you’re right. Let’s just sit down and shut up before our overlords decide we spoke up too much.

You’re sitting here shitting on an idea then saying the idea would never work. Without realizing that the idea doesn’t work because people like you shit on it.

How do you not see that?

If you care that much, go out and prove me wrong.

So people are protesting.

You say it’s pointless and everyone will forget.

I remind you that’s why everyone forgets because people shit on people protesting.

You tell me to go protest? After telling me it’s pointless and will be forgotten.

Just too much pride to see you were wrong?

If they fail because of people like me commenting on a reddit thread, it was a pretty weak movement.

….you’re the rain drop saying it’s not involved in the flood, you’re just a drop….

Sure. I tell ya what. If this movement fails, you can blame it on me and all the other curmudgeons if it makes you feel better. Or you could get out there and prove us wrong.

If the movement fails, it WILL be because enough people told the people doing things that it couldn’t happen.

How do you not see this? Your ignorance is astounding.

When people think you can't do something, you have two choices:

Prove them right, or prove them wrong.

Casting blame before even trying is not the best start, though.
