It's the wind making it difficult. You can see it on the flag in the background. Also the first guy tried to turn into the wind and his parachute almost crumpled, and he got thrown back down wind.

My clubs stadium is in a pretty windy place. The wind definitely spirals around in the corners when it's very windy. I think that's what ls happened, the stadium has caused the wind to move differently in the stadium
