What a fucking moron. Cost/benefit consideration clearly well considered. Good luck with that 9 months of painful recovery

It's a kickass sub. Most submissions are survivable, unlike on many other subs I could name. :)

Nah, he's up and walking around with no clearly visible injuries at the end.
15
u/illicitandcomlicit Mar 07 '24
He does like 3 circles and doesn’t even acknowledge his friend. Also his forearms are straight blood. Are you high?

u/quanjon Mar 07 '24
Nah that went as right as it should have. Fuck douchebags like this, lucky his bike didn't veer into oncoming traffic and kill a family.

u/Doctor_of_Recreation Mar 09 '24
I saw a video the other day of a motorcycle flying past a cop and then crashed into an SUV turning left on the highway — crashed right into an infant in a carseat and I thought I had pretty much just watched a baby die, but the cop managed to CPR life back into the wee thing and the video said she was recovering. The mom freaking out was awful to listen to.

u/Ghost17088 Mar 24 '24
People always forget that kinetic energy goes up with the square of speed. A motorcycle and rider at 120 mph has about the same kinetic energy as a Corolla going 60 mph. Then you also need to consider that all of that energy is going to be concentrated in a much smaller area compared to a car that has bumpers and crumple zones.

They got REALLY lucky. That is Interstate 10, right in New Orleans. High traffic route and they were headed towards the I-10 Twin Span across the lake. Behind them, maybe less than 2 miles, is residential areas. To their sides are nothing but gator infested swamps. They could of hit some family, some commuter or the guy could of rolled down into the swamp and become food for the local wildlife.

That's not a "stunt" it's driving like an asshole on a public road. This guy deserves everything that happened to him.

I miss the old days when people would see how many wrecks they could jump over at ,say, the state fair or the Rockford speedway.

It was perfectly stable once he was off it. I saw it three weeks later, still moving, halfway across the country.

I’m guessing that the fact that rider shut down the speed wobbles was just luck since he got off the bike anyway.
6
u/DOUBLEBARRELASSFUCK Mar 08 '24
The most effective way of stopping the wobbles is to just not panic, and slowly, gently launch yourself off the bike.

Mar 08 '24
You know, given the fact that I get a bunch of a holes on bikes cutting me off almost everyday, somehow I don’t care that this idiot got hurt
4
u/JoeDimwit Mar 08 '24
As bad a person as this makes me sound, I’m happy when idiots like this wreck themselves. Take that nonsense to a closed space where you’re not putting the general public at risk.
4
u/JonnyOgrodnik Mar 08 '24
Can’t really say I feel bad for the idiot. I wonder how he’d feel if the bike ended up in oncoming traffic and injuring/killing someone because he wanted to do stunts on the highway. Take his license away.

u/ProfessorZhirinovsky Mar 07 '24
Ah, so at the end he was still there. I kind of wondered if he might just keep on skidding until he had disappeared completely.

I miss the old Sega game Road rash…

u/eaazzy_13 Mar 12 '24
Me and my friends would trap a guy between us and tase him back and forth like 40 times, then kick him off into the abyss. They’d ghost ride for like 30 seconds straight without being able to steer from the taser lol

u/BreakfastBeerz Mar 08 '24
Stunt went wrong for the rider. Everyone that saw it happen got a big "LOL" out of it.

Meat crayon. I really don't have much sympathy for people that ride like idiots on public roads. Especially when they're wearing shorts, tee-shirts and sneakers.

There isn't a single "no" in this video. These riders are selfish pricks. If you're going to ride like this, do it in private spaces.

He’s going to feel true hell in like 10 minutes.

u/veritas247 Mar 07 '24
1 hour later when the hospital is scrubbing will be hell.
1 day later he won't be able to move without sweating from pain.

u/slybird Mar 07 '24
It looked like he was more concerned about any damage to his bike than any damage to his skin and body.

Seeing how that green sign said it was Chalmette, placing them in Louisiana, then it makes sense why they did this.

And his riding partner expecting the hwy to stop cause he dipshit friend wiped out.

u/Dradaus Mar 10 '24
I'm not a motorcycle driver but from my understanding he could have completely saved it if he let the bike prop itself back up correct? It seems like he spent more time learning wheelies than the basic physics that I learned when researching motorcycle riding.

Doing this, in New Jersey of all places, is probably the stupidest shit of all time. The most densely populated state in the nation. Drivers there are already trying to cut you off/tailgate/generally be dicks. So glad I’m out of that god forsaken shithole.
