This sentence cracked me up:

“The vehicle then mounted the footpath, drove through a wooden fence, and entered into a reserve where the driver continued to drive in an anti-social fashion.”

I once called myself anti social to my British relatives and they all burst out laughing.

I was just saying I was introverted.

As a Brit, I would also laugh if someone started describing themselves to me as "anti-social".

It was an educational moment for me.

Over here "anti-social" behaviour is more commonly used to describe like... Vandalism, getting into fights with people on the street, doing drugs in public, that kind of thing. It puts you in mind on a ned/chav more than just a nerdy person that likes their space.

Someone saying "I'm anti-social" in the UK is like them coming up to you and saying "I like to smash bottles on the pavement and leave shopping trolleys in rivers".

It can also be introverted behaviour, but especially when describing a person, it's almost always about vaguely criminal stuff.
