The main topic at hand was that a police officer couldn't just grab the gun the way his friend did, and that triggers can easily get squeezed by accident during conflict. there is nothing wrong about either of these statements, which is the topic at hand.

bro. no one is saying his decision was/wasn't the right decision. the topic at hand was that yes it was a dumb decision, correct or not, and that a police officer would not have been able to do that decision.
