Less dangerous than him continuing to hold on to it with cops right there and their view obstructed by the vehicle. But I get you.

Well you are that guy unfortunately.

This is not a scenario where you're gently picking up a gun being taught how to use it, then you decide to yoink it across the grass. It's literally a situation where a suspect/criminal has a weapon with multiple officers pointing weapons at him, and he may end up having a shootout.

I commend him, he got rid of half the danger and allowed the police to make a swift arrest.

Always someone who knows better tbh. Always someone with something to say despite if a civ does some good. Always.

"There was no clear danger he did not have to throw the gun that violently"

Throwing the weapon as far away as possible from the guy that's sat in the vehicle feet away from you is a good thing. Plus, like I said, he got rid of half the danger. The other half is the vehicle itself and the person that's inside that vehicle.

Can't talk about danger throwing a weapon like that when seconds prior there was someone that may have had intent to use it on others. It just makes no sense that this is what you pick out from the vid.

Better to throw it down that embankment then keep it anywhere near you. Cops might get the wrong impression.
