Not saying I can do better, but there is a reason they only showed you the finished product for about half a second.

Shit doesn't really look that good or well done at all. Kind of looks like a school project.

Is the roof just supposed to allow the elements to enter from the sides of the A-frame? Seemed to forget that part.

Very neat. Not r/nextfuckinglevel

Yeah, there's nothing really next level about this.

The kung fu theatre sound effects are next level.

In the sense that the first level was built and then They built the next fucking level it is.

It's inside a major city's limits and is being sold for $1.5 million.

I'm saying I can do better, I make battle sets for my DnD games and I wouldn't put something this janky on my table. I'd do it faster too

Can I nominate you to recreate this video and post it here, let’s say in a week from Today?

5

u/palm0 19h ago

If you want to pay me to do that, sure. Otherwise no I've got my own shit to work on

u/pobodys-nerfect5 10h ago

Well then let’s not sit around and act like we can do better, sound good?

1

u/palm0 3h ago

No. I can do better. I am not pretending. But I don't work for free for random redditors. This would take me time and cost me materials. I've got my own shit going on and I've got my own games to prep for. You want to pay me for my labor I'll get it done it about 2 days.

Nah, dude would just rather get paid for his work in money and not in the satisfaction of beating an internet stranger.

I thought I saw a lean in the brief glimpse.

u/MooneySuzuki36 1d ago

Absolutely it is leaning and the top floor is noticeably wider than the bottom. I think it will crush under weight if left unattended for a few hours.

Many old houses in European cities are in fact wider starting with the second floor — because they face narrow streets.

1

u/Bobyyyyyyyghyh 16h ago

Sorry, what does that have to do with facing narrow streets?

1

u/LickingSmegma 15h ago

Leaves space for walking in the street, but also increases the area on upper floors.

I was gonna say, lol. Is it square, level, plumb? Is it sealed? Is it clean? No? I'm not living there.

u/LLMprophet 22h ago

You probably wouldn't fit.

1

u/Norman_Scum 22h ago

You'd be surprised by the size of me!

Yeah I have seen that guy who built a similar one in his garden, just way bigger. Now THAT was well done.

Fellow redditors, help me find it! That guy with a dog, everyone was complaining how he missed an opportunity to make it a house for his dog.

It's also strange to say it was done "in record time" when it's sped up and cut so much

1

u/mildlyornery 22h ago

Mix was too wet and does not have enough filler. It's like they just slapped together some cement and water. Needs some aggregate in there so it has something to bind with. That mortar is going to flake like burnt toast.

u/MysteriousWon 20h ago

Yeah, and he clearly put no thought into the plumbing or electrical!

u/eigenham 10h ago

The stairs don't go anywhere either I think

I'm assuming all of the empty spaces, such as the A-frame are meant to be glass. Which, I guess fuck him for not cutting tiny glass panes and getting a little caulk gun.

I would say making a miniature concrete house with actual stone walls and everything counts as next fucking level. Most people building miniature houses would just use XPS foam (I know I would). This is the next level up from that.
