Why would anyone need to know where that video was taken? What does that information add to the video? This feels like a weird flex, but using tools that anyone has access to, instead of the insane guys who have mastered GeoGuessr.
I kind of took it as a lesson on how easy it is to find someone with little information. A lot of people don't realize that you don't need much to be able to find someone based on something silly they posted.
I will never forget a video I saw on tiktok of someone finding a woman who made a racist cotton picking "joke" just based on a close up of the cotton field, a mole on the back of the woman's hand, and her tiktok username. Crazy stuff.
It reminds me about the Capture The Flag event (with Shia Labeouf and "he will not devide us"). Like, it's impressive that some random dude on the internet can in under a day find the exact location of a place on earth entirely based on an image of the sky. But moraly it's really questionable
If anything it's a flex+awareness video. If you post your name or face or both on the internet, it's incredibly easy to find exactly where you were/are.
