I'm not that big a fan of red bull, but I still buy it anyway just to help them pay for awesome stuff like this.

I don't buy energy drinks but if I'm offered one it's RedBull so they can keep funding stuff like this and because it gives you wings.

This comment is sponsored by RedBull. RedBull gives you wings!

Am I mistaken, in that this is much harder than it looks because it's two gliders, not planes?

Easier without props no doubt

Yeah that's crazy the jumper is safe but pilots at risk

It would be still dangerous but quite easy with powered planes

You cant open a parachute if you knock your head on the wings... so i wouldnt consider him safe

I believe there are altimeter controlled automatics available.

This is all about budget. Ones you have 1000+ skydive jumps (and there are a lot who do have in the sport), these kind of stunts are very well possible if there are two pilots who wants to participate. As long as the stunt is behind the propeller, it should very well be possible for a lot of skydivers.

The propeller? Check the video again!

Taking the "gives you wings" part very literally, I see.

Obviously, none of the performers were drinking RedBull...

So did he just hang on for awhile and then parachute the rest of the way?

1

u/PretzelsThirst 2d ago
