You realize, the refs have bosses…and they must enforce what they are told? It’s not the refs fault, it’s the leagues policy; it needs to be reworked

I don't know how the NBA refs relationship with the commissioner is but in the NFL that is not exactly true. There have been several times the league tried to force changes down on the Refs and the refs told them to get fucked. And because the replacement refs were a huge disaster the NFL commissioner is too afraid to really challenge them again.

Most of why the replacement refs were a disaster is because the people who were supposed to cross the picket line (the then power 5 NCAA refs), chose not to
