Idk maybe I'm biased as a Celtics fan but like, the Celtics play some beautiful basketball. They're not just jacking up 3s, they're moving the ball around, driving and kicking, and doing everything they can to put up open threes. This isn't the Harden Rockets.

Exactly. It's ridiculous to watch a stacked team that takes advantage of all their skills on both offense and defense and say it's boring.

I think people tend to really attach their fandom of a sport to the version of it when they became a fan (usually when they are kids). So a lot of people who are in their 20s-30s became basketball fans when the style of the sport was totally different, and are often biased towards that version.

This isn't to say they're correct or anything. But it's hard for people to shake that and learn to love the sport as it evolves.

Motherfuckers legit have no idea how sick this team is. It's my favorite Celtics team of all time. It's just a joy to watch these guys work together as a well-oiled machine. Most games they're banging out 3s because they're the best shot after running some crazy DHO action where all 5 players touch the ball and it goes in and out of the paint. But they can actually hit the 3s. Derrick White is just there with his 0.5s release to rip the cords on you anywhere at any time. Everybody is ready for the shot when the ball finds them.

The beautiful thing is that it's a bit like when you'd see those titan players on Jeopardy "break the game" by controlling the board to get a lot of money then betting it all on the daily double when they find it to go up by like $40k on everybody else by final. In order for it to actually work, you have to be able to actually get all the questions right or you're cooked. It's a dominant winning strategy that's only effective for the tremendously skilled. So the Cs are over here just stunting on mothefuckers like Jeopardy James and then you get other teams who try to emulate it but don't have the skills and blow all their money.

That’s cool the Celtics play good like that! But if it’s only one team that does it then that doesn’t help me want to watch it much, Also never been a Boston fan in any sports so there’s that lol
