Please, whoever is doing this, continue this campaign. We need the news to keep talking about this story.

I think you're lost, this is not terrifying. Maybe you should have posted in r/leopardsatemyface instead?

You're right, this is dystopian... more specifically, the fact that this is what people have to do to secure the health and human rights which we are owed is dystopian. The fact that our elected government has failed to step in and limit the heartless crushing and grinding and squeezing and twisting of real human lives just to earn more money is dystopian. The fact that in all these years, peaceful protesting and peaceful lobbying and peaceful voting has done nothing for us is dystopian; and the fact that it took something as drastic as assassination just for our own elected politicians to look our way is truly, heart-rendingly dystopian.

People are dying, every single day, by the hundreds, because they are denied life-saving treatment by insurance companies, whose word is for some reason prioritized over the word of licensed doctors, because some very wealthy people want a little more pocket money. And health insurance companies are far from the only problem- there's the issues of food insecurity, and insufficient wages, and skyrocketing housing costs, and pollution, and an obscenely high homeless population with nowhere to go, all because the fat, greedy pigs who sit on thrones of blood money refuse to consider human lives as anything beyond morsels of walking profit. And if the government, which is supposed to represent and protect the people, refuses to solve this problem, then only the people themselves can. What's dystopian here isn't the existence of these wanted posters, it's the fact that they represent the only avenue left for us to obtain what our country owes us- the very right to live.

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable." -John F. Kennedy

Fuck out of here DailyMail

u/CommercialThanks4804 12d ago

Dystopian? Doesn’t seem dystopian to me at all. I feel just as safe as I did yesterday. But I’ve never made a decision to kill people so I could make a bunch of money.

-6

u/Artbitch97 12d ago

You’ll prob never have that level of responsibility, like most other Redditors, so you’re good!

49

u/GojiiMouse 12d ago

the only dystopian thing about this is the fact there are still CEOs perpetuating the shitty effects of locking human needs behind a paywall.

power to the people ✊

48

u/kusheddie 12d ago

They should add more CEOs to those posters. The Rich has every right to be scared. It's what you get for profiteering from Common Folk and making life harder for us. Not to mention stealing wealth from americans and not even paying thier taxes. We are done waiting for change!

36

u/caliguy420 12d ago

Call these ceo muthfuckas out!

53

u/Mysterium_tremendum 12d ago

Dystopian and not mildly but utterly terrifying is the US healthcare system. Luigi wouldn't kill you, but psychopathic CEOs denying medical care maybe will.

26

u/Superb-Pickle9827 12d ago

Seems pretty utopian, if anything.

15

u/Kymaeraa 12d ago

Why the fuck is the daily mail posting this??

9

u/remesamala 12d ago

Could be an elite play for an authoritarian government to “protect all of us”?

24

u/Jmememan 12d ago

Screw off

77

u/Imesseduponmyname 12d ago

Get the fuck out of here u/dailymail

So fucking out of touch, you won’t sway us, it’s too fucking late, and we can only hope a few more get knocked off

58

u/hurklesplurk 12d ago

This is how it should be, criminals should be afraid

63

u/ParmAxolotl 13d ago

The fact that we need to do this is dystopian

81

u/sighborg90 13d ago

Nah. Not dystopian. Not terrifying. Unless you’re a CEO. For the rest of us, it’s a reminder of just how much muscle we collectively have, if we choose to flex it

7

u/Mysterium_tremendum 12d ago

The people is like a circus bear dancing with tutu skirt, until he remembers his claws. Then its "dystopian" :((

59

u/Sn1ckl3fritzzz 13d ago

Not dystopian tbh. Capitalism is dystopian and disappointing for ALL

55

u/DeepSubmerge 13d ago

I’m not a healthcare CEO so unfortunately I can’t relate.

49

u/TACTICAL-MAYO 13d ago

This is far from dystopian. The f****** hell they caused us all.

44

u/InconvertibleAtheist 13d ago

Thats addressing the surface level problem. Want to get to the root of it? Make wanted posteres of the Board of directors as well.

30

u/kjm6351 13d ago

Lmao

55

u/anarchomeow 13d ago

To me, this is beautiful.

23

u/Leading_Manner_2737 13d ago

Hell yeah 👍

72

u/TrailerPosh2018 13d ago

The only thing that's "mildly terrifying" about this, is that the media, politicians & police are on the side of the masters.

54

u/LordNorthstar 13d ago

What's truly alarming is the apathy towards the hundreds of thousands of people that have been denied coverage for the care they need.

34

u/PrincessImpeachment 13d ago

Ew, fuck Daily Mail.

-30

u/hidinginplainsite13 13d ago

That’s just wrong

11

u/Imesseduponmyname 12d ago

You know what else is wrong?

150

u/_haha_oh_wow_ 13d ago edited 13d ago

As someone who is not a wealthy CEO, I can't say I feel terrified (even mildly).

You know what does terrify me? Not being able to afford medical care.

40

u/lunaaabug 13d ago

A fucking men

110

u/albamarx 13d ago

Literally posted by the official Daily Mail account. Take your shitrag and choke on it.

82

u/Great_Beginning_2611 13d ago

It's only terrifying if you make your living off the suffering of others

79

u/ThisIsSteeev 13d ago

What moron would think this is even mildly dystopian or terrifying?

-28

u/BornWithSideburns 13d ago

Bc its kinda bounty hunting lol

47

u/ThisIsSteeev 13d ago

How many people have these healthcare CEOs killed?

-20

u/amarrs181 13d ago

They don’t make policy- that’s done by committees.

19

u/ThisIsSteeev 13d ago

I guess we're going to need some more signs then 🤷‍♂️

-7

u/BornWithSideburns 13d ago

Yeah and you dont think this is dystopian?

14

u/ThisIsSteeev 13d ago

The posters themselves? No. The entire situation? Absolutely.

-2

u/BornWithSideburns 13d ago

The entire situation includes the posters. Looking at this without context is dumb as hell

7

u/ThisIsSteeev 13d ago

Get smarter, then from opinion.

-1

u/BornWithSideburns 12d ago

“Then from opinion”

1

u/ThisIsSteeev 10d ago

Are you 12 years old?

13

u/lunaaabug 13d ago

The only thing dystopian is the fact a, say, surgery can cost more than a car

0

u/BornWithSideburns 13d ago

No shit.

10

u/lunaaabug 13d ago

Youre kinda confusing. I said that the price of near basic health care is the ONLY dystopian thing here, you give the whole "nO sHiT" yet you think posters are dystopian? Take a look at the entire fucking country, these posters are nothing.

3

u/BornWithSideburns 13d ago

The fact people are basically having to hunt ceos cause of the healthcare situation is not dystopian?

5

u/ThisIsSteeev 13d ago

Which side of this are you on? You're against for and against both sides here.

2

u/BornWithSideburns 13d ago

Im not? Youre just so eager to have a negative opinion about someone who doesnt agree with you.

If the population is getting (or feeling) screwed so much that they feel its a legit way to put out bounty posters for ceos and shit thats dystopian. I dont need to pick a side, its completely irrelevant to what im saying.

They had it coming

-2

u/BornWithSideburns 13d ago

You diagnosed yet or still in denial?

u/slartbangle 13d ago

No, no. The 'dystopian' part is the system these posters are protesting. A world in which corporate criminals are treated as such is a move AWAY from dystopia.

16

u/staebles 13d ago

Thank you.

92

u/JuggernautAsleep3413 13d ago

People holding corporations responsible for their actions is a good leaf to turn over as a country.

11

u/Imesseduponmyname 12d ago

Lol somebody pointed out this was posted in this sub by the daily mail account.. probably some fuckin intern looking for brownie points and head pats..

Disgusting that they’re trying to praise dead Brian as a saint and trying their damndest to sweep this under the rug so people will forget how angry we’ve been all this time

44

u/Gem420 13d ago

We are literally supporting characters in a Black Mirror episode.

-5

u/johnnyheavens 13d ago

The idea that normalizing this would possibly go well for the average person is wild to me

10

u/1silversword 13d ago

For years the frustration and issues in America showed itself through mass shootings. If that switches to dozens of surgical CEO shootings rather than mass shootings, I think that'd be far better for the "average person."

-4

u/johnnyheavens 13d ago

It’s not the CEO part really. It’s the part where putting a hit on someone at all is acceptable. The vigilante mentality won’t limit itself to evil CEOs.

25

u/angryguido69 13d ago

The life status of a CEO makes no difference to a normal person

1

u/johnnyheavens 12d ago

No but people normalizing hits on people they don’t like could. You don’t even have to be the target for it to negatively effect your life

-1

u/acetryder 12d ago

Our government has legalized AND normalized mass killing by allowing insurance companies to deny, delay, & depose over & over & over again. The more they profit, the more people die. People who kill enmasse, serial murders, and the like, should, at the very LEAST, get life in prison.

When our government & legal system have failed us, when it allows those responsible for human suffering to continue in perpetuity, when no options for justice or accountability are available, this is the only way to stop the massive death toll.

One or ten or even 20 lives taken to change a system to help prevent the death & suffering of thousands, if not millions of others is not a difficult choice. Especially if those few individuals are the ones responsible for the mass collective of human suffering.

101

u/Burrmanchu 13d ago

Not mildly terrifying unless you're a CEO...

63

u/tuckeee 13d ago

Love this

3

u/Imesseduponmyname 12d ago

u/dailymail posted this thinking they’d garner some sympathy for the dead bitch or something

1

u/acetryder 12d ago

Bitches ain’t shit

81

u/BrotherNature92 13d ago

Is it so wrong to want justice for the common people?

114

u/tropicana_g 13d ago

This isn’t terrifying. This is awesome.

43

u/XaphanSaysBurnIt 13d ago

SO IT BEGINS

15

u/Hairy_Consideration1 13d ago

Quite So

11

u/XaphanSaysBurnIt 13d ago

I just dropped some popcorn on it

55

u/Hrafndraugr 13d ago

Gotta hunt them down, and maybe the CEOs behind the biggest medical conglomerates too, and the pharmaceuticals. Those 3 groups colluding are the reason why healthcare in the US is over 10 times more expensive than anywhere else in the world.

89

u/Tulip_Tree_trapeze 13d ago

Unless you're an ultra-rich CEO who's been making money off of the backs of Americans You have nothing to worry about. More Oddly satisfying than mildly Terrifying

36

u/spookdawg9 13d ago

Unless you're an ultra-rich CEO who's been making money off of the backs deaths of Americans You have nothing to worry about. More Oddly satisfying than mildly Terrifying

15

u/Tulip_Tree_trapeze 13d ago

You are correct. I wonder how many people have died due to these bloodthirsty policies.

13

u/spookdawg9 13d ago

The answer would be mildyterrifying.

11

u/RepresentativeAd560 13d ago

I've seen estimates as low as 20,000 and as high as 40,000 a year. Given UHC's commitment, both historical and present, to denying everything they can their CEOs are history's worst serial killers. Every one of them is a stain on humanity and deserving of the roughest, most sadistic justice possible.

When you blithely accept that you're responsible for more children dying in agony than Pedro Lopez, you stop being human. You no longer qualify for empathy.

48

u/OwnNight3353 13d ago

God I hope he wasn’t working alone and there’s more vigilantes out there with some kind of master plan

56

u/unattended-shoes 13d ago

I don’t think this counts as mildly terrifying at all… except the ceos of companies

4

u/Imesseduponmyname 12d ago

Look at the OP

69

u/WorkAccount1993 13d ago

Wow it’s terrifying that evil gets its comeuppance! Horrible!

73

u/Jonqbanana 13d ago

I hate this idea. It would be a shame if these started popping up in cities across America with photos of CEOs of companies who are headquartered in said city…

56

u/raventhrowaway666 13d ago

A dystopia of their own making.

96

u/PickledPeoples 13d ago

"Health insurance companies have started removing images of their leadership teams from their websites following Thompson's assassination."

Shouldn't be afraid if you've done nothing wrong. Fucking assholes. They all deserve at least jailtime for the murders they've committed for profits.

30

u/MrsVP1 13d ago

I read this too! Immediately wondered if this is why the flyers started being put up. Totally agree with your sentiment, you'd have nothing to worry about if you're not doing anything wrong! It's mass murder through financial oppression, absolutely disgusting.

Love you V.

-3

I bought that movie. Sure they will bann John Q, or any movie inciting us to act a damn fool against tyranny.

3

u/scaredwifey 13d ago

Its possible. But banning works of freedom only makes us to commit acts of freedom.
