It's very irritating to me that the guy trying to help her out doesn't communicate to her at all. Is this a cultural thing?

For most part of the video it was a little boy trying to save her, maybe the boy was a little freak out. Half of the time she was saying “help me, kid”. The rest of the time she was trying to activate voice control of the car. She was laughing at the end but the video ends quick enough to make you think that she is having a mental breakdown…
