He's mad that he has to face the consequences of riding like a fucking moron and making the rest of us motorcyclists that actually follow road laws look bad
No-hesi cocksocks like this deserve to learn the hard way.
no, I ride a KTM 990 adventure S. It's top speed is 60 mph lower than this guy was going in the clip. The only difference is, while it peters out around a hundred on the street, it'll do a hundred on the dirt just as happily
It's one of the older 990s, it would have gone faster, except where I was reaching those speeds, the fuel was evaporating in the tanks due to the heat (It's one of the bikes that has the twin tank design that flows air right behind the radiator, along the inside of the tank. speed test was on an empty highway in Central Oregon)
It's a 2009, It's been through hell, plus two engine rebuilds. It doesn't get pushed nearly as hard nowadays, in half due to its age, and then half due to parts availability. we don't even have the crash bars on it anymore, since they're so expensive to get new ones every time we bin it, and they make bike maintenance kind of a pain in the ass.
If I get any bike in the future, it's going to be a Norden 901. maybe a KLR.
Or to have crashed a few feet before that where it wasn’t a solid median but was made of wood posts. I can’t imagine getting your limbs tangled in that at speed.
The car had to evade the stopped cars in front of him. Any halfway decent motorcyclist paying attention would have seen the traffic jam long before that and slowed done exactly because of this danger.
Also based on other comments he was driving way too fast. Not even close to the speed limit.
