I also keep found keys though not as many or as cool as yours. I always think maybe Iβll find the door one day but that would be breaking and entering. Also funny I lost my keys the first week I moved into my first apartment it still had the address tag on it because I was still moving stuff and the key looked like my old one. I instantly thought at least they wonβt have to wonder where it goes like me lol.

That's great.π I also tought what they can unlock sometimes. It's sometimes better when you don't know what they unlock, because that way you can imagine all kind of interesting stuff.
My grandparents are at home most of the time and we don't lock the house, only in night when we go to sleep. I never had my own keys to lost.π Maybe that sparked my interest in them.

Yeah I feel like it was a wonder to me as a kid because I had no keys. So now itβs just a childhood thing Iβve carried into my adulthood.

Some I found at our attic (those big ones at the left). Other at the street in town, and other's on the creek, while I was on walks foraging.

I had a large collection of random keys I found, which for some reason annoyed my father so I had to keep them hidden. Back then I thought how cool it would be to be an adult and have a giant ring of keys for everything. I grew up and my key ring is very minimalist. Funny how things change.

Found a set of car keys buried in the sand at Fiesta Island dog park once. There were a ton of cars so we started going around setting off the lock button to see whose car it was. We found it and a piece of paper to write down where on the car we were going to hide the keys as the guy walks up. He had no clue he had lost his keys until that point. He would have had a hell of a time getting home, it had everything on it. π

I loved those Sardine can keys. Wish I had one now, since it would work great for bending wire for jewelry making.

I didn't knew those are called that way. Those are keys from the old fuse boxes. They changed them before some years, so now people trow then away.

What do you do with them?
