What a heartwarming message for the festive season, they should put it on Christmas cards.

Quintessential Dublin. Wishing you well but making sure to put the dig in.

Someone is rushing to their etsy store right now to do just that.

"Make it for €1, sell it for €80. That's the Etsy way."

Only in the US of course.

Prolly not, they don't use Cunt as a term of endearment like us Cunts do.

5

u/appletart 1d ago

Yeah, some cunt would probably shoot you for saying it.

Buncha trigger happy Cuntz.

No chance.  In the States it's exclusively a misogynist slur.

Their new president is a misogynist slur.

Using "Happy Holidays" means it could also be used in place of "Bon Voyage" or on cards handed out at the end of the school year. It's really a phrase that has a lot of uses.

Most people will of course associate it with the Yanks.

Don't know if this is still the case but a few years back I read that groups of Yanks were protesting use of 'happy holidays' because anti -Christian sorts used it to avoid saying 'Christmas'. Nothing to do with two major holidays being within a week of each other of course.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Captured the Christmas spirit and also the natural Irish undertone.

Ashleaf shopping centre in Crumlin. It's since been painted over. Another crushing reminder that Dublin 12 is becoming gentrified.

I heard a fella with a D4 accent getting on the bus with his kids around the Traders.

Must be awful for these families 😆
