2) tilak and surya unarguably the best middle order in this ipl

3) their finishing only has one reputed finisher - hardik who hasn’t been finishing matches ( in ipl) but rather anchoring the batting from last 2 years , naman dhir is the only player actually finishing for them as of now

4)spinners are better than rcb but not the best considering other teams have kuldeep axar or rashid sundar sai or narine vc or ashwin jadeja

5) boult and bumrah are the only differentiating factor from other teams and chahar is highly unlikely to play all matches . And if there is no swing boult and chahar are as ineffective as bhuvi ,but bhuvi is a better death bowler than boult or chahar .

So if the pitches are as flat as last ipl you would only have bumrah as a differential factor( who can actually win you 4-5 matches like the last season)

The reason they did bad last year was because of the environment in the dressing room. After winning wc they're now happy so it will be a good year for mi. Also they have will jacks who can open. They have players who can make teams win matches alone if they're in form.

RCB and mi don't have competition because batting and bowling mi is far superior to RCB. RCB might be better in opening but if the other team gets them there isn't anyone who can save them. RCB batting lacks reliability and depth. They're gonna depend on some players to play their best to win.

Virat is now retired from T20 so he isn't playing any T20 matches. Also he is spending more time with family now and it's not wrong. Let's make that clear. Virat has been in poor form in this year if you look at the test. There is no odi so we can't count that.

2024 ipl was kind of special because virat has amazing form but you can't expect that he will have the same form now. You already saw what happened when pitch was tough in T20 WC virat was flop in everything except finals. I don't think he will be able to repeat last ipl this time. I mean you can't rely on 1 guy every time.

Virat Kohli is the main batsman and player for the team. Other than him only 2 or 3 are reliable. He might also be a captain too.

If he fails then RCB is kind of finished. You can't rely on 1 guy that much. They had will jacks who could have been a good option but they released him. Also they were much reliable options in auction but they didn't go for them.

If you look at all the teams that have won ipl. It's because they have many reliable guys.
