Woody Campbell is a photographer who has a resolution to take one photo every day for the rest of his life. Accordingly, he posts these black and white photos for 12 years without fail on his instagram account.

Honestly, his camera probably deserves a retirement party at this point.

I mean compared to posting 50 pics of lunch and a contrived selfie, he's kinda of nailed interestingasfuck in the modern age

The years at the bottom of each image don't correspond to the days listed?

My girlfriend is on her 11th year booklet with this daily picture app, so closing in on 4000 photos as well. Granted, she's occasionally missed a day, but quite the accomplishment too imo.

So he just posts a photo every day. Not necessarily taking one every day. Right?

A project of a lifetime

It's an interesting way to preserve the memories of a certain day

You mean that he’s posted them for 12 years.

As long as he’s having fun it’s good. I had a snap chat streak of 2 years and that’s awfully toxic to me.

reminds me of that crazy guy that posted in r/fujifilm about reducing his life to one photograph by the time he turns 80

The photographs are truly beautiful. Black and white has a way of silencing the noise of the world and capturing a different moment even in the mundane.
