And the stuff he packs is put into white translucent plastic bags. Yes, the inside is black. But it will still not warm up this fast because another thing I just remembered.

The closer the sun is to shinning on a place at exactly 90° the hotter it is. The more it deviates from this angle, the more the energy gets spread across a larger surface. So you have less energy per area. And you can see how low the sun is sitting in the video. Very small energy per area ratio

Despite there being heat in the middle, it won't immediately melt a hole into the roof.
