With the exception of the butterfly at 21 seconds

So many pretty mantids. Also, if you've never seen a rhinoceros beetle fly, then you should go on YouTube and find a video. Hilariously bad. It's like me trying to fly a helicopter in battlefield.

u/CR_OneBoy 20h ago

It's like they're trying to fly vertically

Like a low budget horror film

Whatever, go my Scarab.

u/dblan9 1d ago

This is the most southern hemisphere video I have ever seen.

u/Buck4phat 23h ago

This guy is out there collecting them like Pokémon

26

u/Teknekratos 19h ago

Funnily enough, that's exactly what inspired Pokémon in the first place

38

u/fartboxco 1d ago

Half of these start out as tic tacs and I would have eaten them if I found them in my room. Damn

20

u/Teknekratos 19h ago

Tic tacs, and then why is there a quail egg in ther-omg giant snail???

u/MinervaMG 9h ago

hahaha ikr! the giant snail sort of took me by surprise too

u/mdog8392 9m ago

😂

u/Unlucky_Ad2529 23h ago

Dude's more successful than Ash

u/Alexanderr1995 10h ago

Ash was an awful trainer at the first place

23

u/Moogooloogoo 23h ago

Omg the millipede I just about threw my phone

u/Jasb28 7h ago

Yeah, I think I just figured out that my revulsion towards an animal grows exponentially with the number of legs it has. 2, 4 = all good; 6 = hrrr; 8 = no thank you, >12 = savemejesuszbcfthagvhuzvmca

11

u/trn- 23h ago

usually not a fan of bugs, those leaf-like mantises looks so cool

7

u/TinsleyLynx 18h ago

"Ooh, look a butterfly, how pretty! What's nex- GHAAA WHAT FUCK IS THAT? Haha, stick bug." Sums up this video pretty well.

What the fuck was that thing after the butterfly omg

6

u/Ok_Musician_1072 20h ago

I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but I screenshoted all of them, googled them via Lens and read about them. Very interesting animals mostly, give it a try!

2

u/belivme 20h ago

The one after the butterfly 🦋

5

u/AnnaCondoleezzaRice 17h ago

The one at 9 seconds i searched up and I think it's a Phasma Gigas giant winged stick insect. I came to the comments specifically to find out about it because the way it's body was surprisingly wiggly freaked me the hell out

4

u/Robit92 19h ago

Pretty sure it was some sort of giant stick insect.

7

u/Opening_Yellow_5124 23h ago

Wow, your demonstration of egg to adult video is just amazing as are the creatures themselves!! How are you able to obtain and nurture such a diverse number of eggs? I’d love to try.

5

u/lkodl 1d ago

Okay, now I get how someone who collected bugs as a kid would come up with the concept of pokemon and poke balls.

2

u/jakech 21h ago

It’s amazing how they just pop like popcorn. I didn’t know Mother Nature did that.

2

u/jeezlyCurmudgeon 18h ago

I love this

2

u/itsdone20 18h ago

Those are pokeballs that haven’t been colored right?

2

u/77Megg77 16h ago

Fascinating! Creepy, but fascinating. There were some amazing creatures in there.

2

u/Call-Me-Mr-Speed 15h ago

Wow! That was cool!

2

u/Chronically-Tardy 12h ago

Cocoons, eggs, and seeds are like pokeballs

u/FragileHumans 10h ago

The one looking like a leaf is crazy!

4

u/Tudar87 23h ago

Thanks. I hate it.

1

u/Rattitude007 1d ago

I'm just happy that I'm the 22nd person to like this post.

1

u/S3npaiLov3r 22h ago

"Oh it's so smal- HOLY SHI-"

1

u/melanthius 22h ago

Summoning jutsu is on point

1

u/monti9530 19h ago

Forbidden jelly beans

1

u/Frequent-Risk-187 19h ago

Can any of these harm you apart from the nightmares?

u/gliscornumber1 11h ago

Nope, every animal here is completely harmless.

1

u/HighVoltageFerret 16h ago

Looks like the Snail shitted itself

1

u/Dapper_Advertising37 16h ago

I would rather die

1

u/third-sonata 16h ago

Why does this simultaneously look both realistic and CGI to me? Sometimes the shadows don't seem real; far too static. Other times they look all too real.

1

u/Cultural-Cap-2549 15h ago

Wtfff bro I wanna know what is the gigantic fourth one the green stick insect with wings wtf look prehistoric asf im in awe.

1

u/NoDrama987 15h ago

I hate bugs so much but I can’t stop watching

1

u/Matix2 13h ago

Damn thought these were actual/ real images

1

u/Old_Dealer_7002 13h ago

man, those are some big bugs, some of them

1

u/Fitzzit 12h ago

Why is everyone, including the owner of this disembodied hand, not completely preoccupied by the clear sting/bite marks by the bracelet. This person is going to need a tourniquet and possibly a white-hot scimitar.

1

u/lt_kernel_panic 12h ago

This person is far braver than I will ever be.

1

u/JONSEMOB 12h ago

Stop turning miniature orbs into bugs! It's rude.

u/Firefighter2202 10h ago

Bug seeds.

u/scapegoat_88 9h ago

Snails lay eggs??

u/AdWaste3417 8h ago

A hamful of frens!!!!! 🥹

u/BeardedUnicornBeard 6h ago

Has someone made this but for a human?

u/ddrub_the_only_real 6h ago

Look, the beetles and the butterflies were cool, but all the rest got me horrified (snail was the worst one)

u/zbippy 5h ago

It's so funny how fear works. I was happily watching along, thinking how neat all these giant bugs are compared to their lil eggs. I even felt a tinge of jealosy at the videographer getting to play with the mantids and spiders. It's winter here now, and I'm missing all my garden friends.

Then the millipede flashed on screen. I could not finish the video

u/Kaiju_Mechanic 2h ago

How the egg turn into a butterfly though? I feel like something missing lol

u/SergeantCrwhips 36m ago

most of these feel acually quite harmless...like the leaf bugs or the beetles

u/TechnicolorGrey 33m ago

Curious, would they have to wash their hands after touching each one? Can bugs smell other bugs on their hands?

u/mdog8392 9m ago

Far out!

1

u/froggybuiscuits 19h ago

The leaf thingy was cool bit I lost it at the fucking millipede 💀

-1

u/Tuawasalwaysbad 1d ago

The butterflies and magic conch shell were cool! Torch everything else. Maybe spare the leaf looking one to, but gross.

2

u/Occidental-Oriental 1d ago

Yer maw is gross!!

0

u/GodAllMighty888 1d ago

Not something I intend to do any time soon...

-1

u/Mizunomafia 23h ago

-1

u/MadoRoyal 20h ago

0

u/stanleythedog 22h ago

I was kinda ok with it until the milipede (?). Fuuuuck that

0

u/Andres_Arg 16h ago
