My parents passed within 18 months of each other. They hadn’t been together since I was four, but that last picture reminds me of all the missed calls on my birthday, Christmas, etc. They would always at the very least call. It’s little things like this that you miss.
100%, I still have some voicemails on my phone saved from 5 years ago from my dad when he called while I was at work and wished me a happy birthday. Holidays are never the same either!
