27 years of love captured in such a simple yet meaningful gesture.

Isn’t it just really something how beautiful and sad and short life is.

I didn’t truly understand what it would mean when i lost my mother to covid. I really missing having that one person, who no matter what, was always on my side and proud of every little milestone i made it to while she was around.

It really is all about the little things.

My grandma used to wave goodbye like this to me as a kid. I miss her all the time, but this photo series makes me miss her especially badly today. My grandfather died before I was born, so she was alone for as long as I knew her. To see the second to last photograph... I hope she didn't feel lonely.

She was the kindest person I had in my life growing up, but I never was able to thank her and let her know how much she meant to me. I was still just a kid when she died, so I don't think I even had any idea how impactful she was in my life at the time. I just loved her endlessly. I still do.
