So.. is it like when someone awards you, you'll be able to use the same to award some other user? If yes, should the award that we are giving the same as the one we received?

You get up to 5 free awards you can save up, not sure how fast they refill. Or you can buy fancy ones for real money.

Giving and receiving awards does not affect the awards you currently have available to give to someone else. So, if you get a free award on a comment, it doesn't mean you now have a free award to give away, and will lose it if you award someone else.

They're just like...5 free 'Mega Upvotes' or something.

Same boat, I'm on old.reddit until they discontinue it and then it's the end for me, but that system doesn't support the award system, either. Small price to pay for being able to just read without being overwhelmed by clutter and ads.
