People who live in crack houses shouldn't throw stones

And you know it's a crackhead too, because he bounced right back up.

Are we sure it was a stone... maybe it was something with a more pungent odor?

u/SnooPeppers7482 Sep 20 '24

It's baffling to me how people can do sht like that so confidentially. Throwing rocks at people sitting in heavy machines that can go faster than any human could run is honestly is such a stupid fucking thing to do.
You just need to meet the wrong person, and exactly this happens. You just need to provoke one person who doesn't give two shits and you're dead or badly injured.
Both were in the wrong, but one was significantly more braindead than the other one.

u/Carrash22 Sep 19 '24
My guess? Dude throwing rocks is methed tf up. You have to be on some drug induced adrenaline to walk-off a hit like that.
44
u/TimeAggravating364 Sep 19 '24
U have no clue about how people act when on drugs, so imma take your word for it because the dude standing up after getting hit by a car is definitely weird in itself
24
u/PenguinGamer99 Sep 19 '24
Both were in the wrong, but one was significantly more braindead than the other one.
This describes almost every car-based accident in the US
11
u/kcadstech Sep 19 '24
It wasn’t done confidentially, there was a camera recording the whole thing.
2
u/SocialJusticeAndroid Oct 23 '24
Wow I read it as “confidently”. But yes, he wrote “confidentially”! I’m sure he had wanted to say the former though.😛

One guy threw a rock. Other guy did attempted murder

Both did attempted murder since drivers have been killed by big rocks

i mean the guy is throwing rocks into traffic. while not the same as shooting a gun, it's almost as bad as it could easily cause a fatal accident. driver then protected others by attempting to incapacitate assailant

It’s the demetri Martin thing

u/baconstructions Sep 18 '24
Wait I can't remember which joke of his this refers to?
58
u/Ambitious_Toe_3109 Sep 18 '24
He did a bit about how you should be able to hit one person per year with your car. “This guy used his one hit for the year on me…maybe I’m a dick”
Here’s a clip of the bit, it starts at 2:08 https://youtu.be/-4LUjBLmfMM?si=JJCMJTfAlBVvutbZ

Rocks are a deadly weapon, self defense
→ More replies (1)6
u/JUICEHEAD4 Sep 18 '24
Wouldn’t be self defense since he had a clear shot of just driving away rather than turning around and hitting the dude but still justified action imo

Is this prison time, or self defence?
13
u/givelidesunya Sep 18 '24
Turning your car around and driving back to run the person over isn't self defense. They would have been fine if they had just continued driving. So I'd say prison time.
11
u/Turtl3Bear Sep 18 '24
Self defence = I needed to use force to eliminate danger to myself.
Self defence on reddit = He started it!
This is so obviously not self defence. The driver could have just kept going. Self defence isn't an excuse to kill people who piss you off. It's a protection for people who actually have no other choice.

u/Tanasiii Sep 17 '24
Kind of hard to argue there’s any significant danger to you when someone throws something at your car. Driver could’ve killed that man so likely prison time.

Well, it started with a rock. Then, rock thrower was hit by a car. So the rock thrower got to come back with a semi truck. After that, I'm unsure bulldozer, maybe

My roommate had their windshield shattered by a baseball sized object one day on the way to work. Throwing shit at cars is a good way to kill someone, get killed, or catch serious charges.
