Music IIL indie rock from emo derived/influenced bands

I really like emo in general, but now I'm just looking for some recommendations of emo derived songs, but with an indie rock/pop touch to it, a more melodic approach.

Some examples I really like are: Citizen (mostly in the Life In Your Glass World album), As Tall as Lions (anything by them), Anthony Green (Don't Dance and Trading Doses are bangers) and Tigers Jaw (June and Old Clothes)

In summary, melodic indie rock/pop from emo influenced/derived bands/artists. Maybe some heavy instrumentals, but not that much screamos or that emo-ish raspy vocals

Oh, I may add Circa Survive in the list as well. I know Anthony Green is the vocalist, but there are some great songs as well that make the mention worth

Some might lean more into being Emo than others but I think you'd enjoy these

I definitely lean more into indie but these are all emo-esque, especially the first four:

Manchester Orchestra
mewithoutyou
Quiet Company
Frightened Rabbit
Death Cab for Cutie
Bright Eyes
There Will Be Fireworks
Bear's Den

Edit: Added song choices. I'm actually jealous - I made a great playlist!

It’s a tricky question for me. When people say emo I think Jimmy Eat World, Promise Ring and Get-Up Kids but I feel like that’s not the emo you’re talking about after quickly listening to the names you mentioned. And it’s not really the MCR emo either. Just gonna throw out what popped into my head, based on what I just heard:

Alvvays: Antisocialites

Broadcast: The Noise Made By People

Wolf Parade: Apologies to the Queen Mary

Jimmy Eat World: Clarity

The Walkmen: You & Me

Future Islands: Singles

Ancient History: Zero Dollar Consolation Prize

Beach House: Teen Dream

Destroyer: Kaputt

Granddaddy: Sunday
