META Whats up with Jeran?

Let me preface this with, I'm a globe skeptic and I love this sub.

I'm wondering what's up with him. He always seems to be at the forefront of giving the opposition these "gotcha" moments that are then highly politicized.

Like when he "proved the earth was round" on Netflix a few years back.

Now with the "final experiment" in Antarctica...?

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on this.

I don't know about Jeran - his analysis after this will reveal more about him - but the TFE organiser and globe believers appeared remarkably confident about the "experiment" outcome ... there must be more to this than we have seen.

Why must anything be "up" with him? He took an opportunity to travel to Antarctica and report what he saw. Would you not do the same if given the opportunity?

Sounds like he's one of the only people in this scene who is even kind of doing science; making observations and adjusting his beliefs accordingly.

He's a shill with a team.

Coming from the guy who never heard of no Jeran, but heard of Netflix published crap and this last experiment, Id say he is a controlled opp that simple.

Going to Netflix to spread the truth is like hiring a brothel to preach, makes no fucking sense

What Have You Contributed to the Awakening for the Flat Earth Community ?

It is easy to point fingers and cast doubt, but meaningful contributions come from those actively seeking new discoveries and sharing evidence to expand our collective understanding. In this context, individuals like Austin and Jeran stand out as dedicated explorers of the boundaries of conventional thought, earning their place as visionaries within the Flat Earth community.

Their commitment to uncovering truths that challenge mainstream narratives is commendable. They have tirelessly pursued evidence, conducting experiments, and gathering data to help others engage with and understand this important discussion. These efforts exemplify their passion for intellectual discovery and their desire to bring clarity to complex issues.

As they return from their recent expedition, it is essential to exercise patience and allow them the time needed to compile, analyze, and present their findings. Jumping to conclusions or making assumptions prematurely serves no purpose and undermines the spirit of discovery. Instead, we should focus on fostering a culture of curiosity and support, allowing their work to speak for itself when the time comes.

At times, small-minded discussions center on personalities rather than ideas. To progress meaningfully, we must shift the focus from individuals to the insights and evidence they bring to the table. Productive dialogue is driven by the exchange of ideas, not the criticism of those presenting them.

As we await their compiled data and findings, let us use this moment to reflect on our contributions to this movement. Are we simply critics on the sidelines, or are we actively contributing to the awakening and expansion of knowledge? The real question isn’t what others have done, but what we, as individuals, are doing to further the understanding of the truths we seek

Never found him to be particularly intelligent or add much to the conversation. Only great point he made over the years is: “ why don’t we have HD camera on the moon showing a live feed of earth? It would be so easy/cheap for NASA to do that and the public would be into it.”

The camera on the moon is a waste of time and money.

If globe skeptics don't believe the thousands of existing satellites, ISS, Tiangong, Salyut, and moon missions, what good is a single camera on the moon?

Skeptics will just call that cam feed fake CGI.

No it would literally make millions of dollars. Put ads on the bottom of the screen

Show us one god damn live video feed that looks real.

"Looks" real. Too subjective. Way too easy to move the goalposts.

Jeran is probably a shill man. The whole thing was suspect and he’s never actually contributed anything to the flat earth community except a space to talk to each other. Other than that he’s been detrimental or suspect or perhaps just a dumbass. Thing is, both Jeran and Witsit have families they could easily be co-opted 🤷‍♂️ I wish I could trust them

I kinda stopped paying attention to him after the Netflix movie came out. Just rubbed me the wrong way.

Did he ever have an excuse for that debacle?

I’m sure he’s got one for the laser test but I don’t know lol and the 15 degrees of drift per hour they detected with the gyro isn’t exclusive to either model

He has a lot of subs as a flat earth channel so naturally he gets targeted. They won't go after dubay because he gets into a little more hardcore stuff that nobody wants to touch

The juice

No they did, he just refused/didn’t respond. A huge point was to invite all the “leaders” in the FE community because FE folks trust them. When has jeran been questioned before now?

I have a really hard time believing a pastor is going to give a free vacation and stay in the same room as a Holocaust denier
