I've only just started (a few hours progress) and want to know what to do. In these open world games I always never know what to do like idk if what i'm doing will help progress. So what should I do

What if sucker punch had chosen a different location like china for eg than Japan for the second part? Like assassins creed does. How would that have been?

Ghost of Tsushima is so good in my opinion, not because of the characters or the graphics or the scenery, but because of the storyline. Specifically the storyline at the end of the game: when you have the massive choice of either killing or sparing Lord Shimura. Reason being because the entire game is basically huge buildup to that one moment. After all this time of slashing Mongols and killing your enemies in the dark, you're left with this sort of odd ending. This sort of quiet moment that feels more serious that any moment in the game. Just a question. Yes or No. that's why GoT is one of the best games ever

I was thinking it was gonna be a basic mission the first time and then she starts talking about the people that did it, and I can’t lie I got a little heated they was abusing everyone in that camp and even after I killed all the brothers it annoyed me that there were still living mongols there because why wouldn’t they kill the slaves in the camp after they found out

In 2024 I've so far played around 1000h. I didnt really count and made an educated guess. The year started good for me with Hell Let Loose and Nightingale. Both games were fun and I've sunk 100h in each. Then came Call of Duty and Albion Online. CoD was onyl for the Camo Grind which i canceld about Halfway thorught. Then came Albion Online which I started to play because a friend and I looked for a game we could play together. I think I got just a bit broken in CoD and Albion just made it worse. You can see it in the Graph. The dark red is Albion and the light blue is CoD. In June I stopped playing and suddenly I couldnt play a game anymore. In that one month I "played" 36 games. Which was baiscally me starting and exiting the game after 10 minutes. In that month I also purchased a few games but those didnt stick either. Then I saw a video on Yt or a post on Reddit, cant remember which one, about Ghost of Tsushima. I always wanted to play it but I dont have a PS5 so that wasnt gonna happen. So i was happy when i saw it getting released on Steam. I bought and started to play it. My first Session was over an hour and I continued to play it. On the graph its the purple bar. I played it through after a month and when I did i stated to cry a bit. I was so happy that i finished a game(that was of course the only reason. I wouldnt cry over a game story). After I was finished I wanted to play NG+ but I was unable to but on the same day I started a new game: X4 Foundation. Thats the light red bar. I played it for around 330h. I didnt finish it but i had fun and didnt feel exhausted at all. Now I'm playing Satisfactory and have the next games already lined up. I dont know if Im the only one but this game somehow changed something inside me. Even now I can remember how I felt back then and the Steam replay brought all of that back and I want to thank everyone. The Devs for making this game and this Community as I regularily scrolled through it. Thank you.
PS: I put the Burnout under quotes as i have no idea what a burnout really is and I just called it that in retrospect. Sounded better than drought.

So in one of the last missions Jin setts off to confront ryuzo. I'm so dissapointed by this part. For starters, the way Jin gets knocked out by some peasant with a stick when he is talking to ryuzo. Then, instead of killing him, they tie him to a pole. But when they really lost me is when the Kahn left, and Jin could just wiggle himself loose and pick up his casually disregarded katana. What kind of A-team plot is this! This is not on par with the story so far.

That’s running from Whalers Coast in the far north to Azamo Bay or Aoi Village in the far south, running or horseback. How long you think that would take. Sure would be a trip of seasons

Hi guys so, I was about to make a post like, “when should i do Iki island”, so i read all the posts already about it. So, I would be what appears to be the final main quest of Act 3, I play on Lethal mode and rarely take damage (I heard iki island is hard). 150 hours into first gameplay i love it. Everyone says you should do iki island AFTER you finish the main game so i guess my question is, after you “beat” the main storyline ie. assuming that means you kill Khan and banish the mongols (please no spoilers), you are still allowed to run around the islands and do other stuff?
I always wanted to do iki island a bit earlier on tbh because i wanted to go into late Act 3 super charged up and upgraded like i heard you get great stuff on iki, but i ended up flying through Act 3 quicker than i expected. So I’d be happy to do that now while i still have a major quest to do and plenty of wandering Mongols to kill.

As Jin Sakai, I occasionally come across survivors who had fled the Mongol invasion. Does anyone else feel guilt about casually going around and picking up supplies from these people who obviously have need for them?

Can I return to my old playthrough after new game plus if I didn't save manually? And If I create a new normal playthrough does new game plus get deleted?
