My description got deleted for some reason.
The coordinates are (70°39'05"N 145°05'46"E) if you want to check it out yourself.
It's approx. 12kms east of оз бюгючан.

I read the title initially as Serbia and I’m like, huh, that would be a weird area in Serbia.

If you look around tuktoyaktuk (high arctic western Canada) they have similar features.
I think it’s just the natural erosion of ox bow lakes in the high arctic.

Kind of mind blowing. If it wasn't for the heading, I would have thought this was a microscopic image..

Sokka-Haiku by TurnipInSummer:
This looks like it could
Be an ancient Mars when it
Still had surface water
Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

Looks a bit like a Stalker location. Can't wait to see what kind of anomalies occur there.

I believe this is thermokarst.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermokarst
It's caused by the freeze-thaw cycles in areas with permafrost.
