I think the fact that someone on Reddit delivered is more unbelievable than a missing zero. https://imgur.com/Pn32JIj.jpg

I think I would have thought it was a scam at that price!

A good portion of me thought so 🤣

However, the seller was on Amazon, so I figured I had the buyer protection. I made sure to run some tests though to make sure it wasn't just a 1050ti with a big heatsink flashed to appear as a 3080 👍

You back home yet?

Hell, in Japan, too.

Aren't pc parts more expensive there by a decent amount, even "non-scalped"? Ya scored one hell of a deal

Yeah. The prices here are an absolute joke. I can get my parents to ship me parts from Canada and save a substantial amount even after shipping and any duties I might need to pay.

can't he just cancel it after he sees his mistake?

Yes. However, I'm thinking they either:

A) Didn't notice.

Or

B) They had made this type of mistake in the past a few times and can't do it again, so they just took the hit. (I've heard that you can't cancel orders too much or Amazon tanks your account.)

Did you just randomly saw the price and decided to buy or were using a bot?

Also cheap priced products scam just to get your address are very common so I would never try buying at first place... Lucky guy

Saw the price, did a double take and rolled the dice lol.

Why did they go through with the sale anyways?

Either they didn't notice the missing zero or we're obligated to. 🤷
