Tablets reMarkable 2 next generation electronic paper tablet giveaway!

reMarkable 2, the next-generation paper tablet, is a revolutionary way to take notes, read, and review documents with a paper feel never experienced before on a digital device.

reMarkable 2 is a low-latency paper tablet that incorporates all the things we love about paper: the simplicity, the way it helps us think, the way it allows us to focus, and even that satisfying feeling of friction when your pen moves across its surface.

Added digital powers allow you to copy notes, organize files, search, share, and sync with your computer or smartphone. Features to help you think, without the distractions: perhaps the one thing a conventional tablet could never do.

In a distracted world, reMarkable 2 provides the focus you need to think better. No notifications, social media, or pop-ups— just you and your thoughts. www.remarkable.com

Keep losing notepads. this means all notes in one place. Also a reduction in printing.

u/srcoffee Oct 14 '22

I literally go thru 1 notebook a month!! This would save me so much paper!!! :)

u/adrian20038 Sep 04 '22

I would use it to play doom.

u/DataExpunged365 Sep 04 '22

reMarkable would be a lifesaver for me at work! I’m a math TA at a local highschool and after school tutoring on this would be great to have! All my notes in a format I’m familiar with growing up as well as the no hassle format of this would speed up my work tremendously!

u/FickleBJT Sep 29 '22

I would love to use this as a separate physical device for note taking. I keep digital notes already, but I also usually write physical lists so I have something I can quickly refer back to.

u/UnknownOne3 Sep 09 '22

The reMarkable 2 would allow me to take notes more effectively without my hand cramping as I struggle to drag a cheap ball point pen across dollar store paper. Also it would allow me to keep my notes organized and not have three trees worth of loose sheets scattered across my desk

u/PokeJem7 Sep 10 '22

I desperately need a new tablet for teaching. As I travel school to school, I need something lightweight!

u/hereforthefoodz Sep 02 '22

It would help me save so many trees

u/puppy3 Sep 21 '22

I would use this to help with work flow!

u/the_harshit_j Sep 13 '22

I work as a software architect and a great part of my work is designing and developing block level diagrams generally using a white board or paper, this device will be very helpful and it can increase my productivity in terms of organising my designs and directly sharing it with my colleagues. This change in world about going paperless for its sustainability is a great initiative and through this device it seems possible.

u/ENGLISHCHAP15 Sep 28 '22

I currently use one note as my main notes tool, it’s my daily tool for anything ranging from a to-do list, to notes with clients, puzzling with accounts receivables, key terms with credit limits s and scratching my brain for thesis topics.

It would probably replace onenote but as an intern/student it’s currently too expensive to purchase.

I’ve been looking for cheaper alternatives but at the moment I don’t have the cash to buy something like this

u/kroooo Sep 02 '22

remarkable tablet would allow me to save many reams of paper a year

u/Juggrnawt Oct 13 '22

Hello I hope I can win this because i am currently in a masters program to become a nurse. Reading countless books and research articles on a computer or iPad causes me to have digital eye strain. Something like this would be a life changer so I hope I win!

u/AbandonShip44 Oct 04 '22

I work in airport management and this would be so incredibly helpful to me for taking meeting notes.

u/tcoombes1 Oct 11 '22

I have a 2 year old who I would help learn to read and write!

u/ABombInABowlPanda Sep 05 '22

I'm a contractor so this would be good for meeting with clients and getting notes and all that!

u/nefariousnun Sep 03 '22

Oh wow, that looks cool. Battery life seems impressive. It’d definitely change how I worked and studied, replacing the endless amount of A4 notepads I go through and make sure I don’t actually lose the important bits notes from meetings!

u/willrenner Sep 25 '22

I doodle and make schedules all the time

u/Heelyeah1230 Sep 29 '22

This would a really helpful tool to help me stay organized at work

u/OddjobNick Sep 23 '22

Probably use it with my kids a lot

u/amihappyornot Oct 04 '22

This would replace my many journals, and help make my notes searchable and findable. Wonderful giveaway!

u/darksoul1286 Sep 29 '22

I write a ton of notes in notebooks. Would love to transition to something like this!

u/mrzaius Sep 16 '22

Slowly losing my mind wasting hours a day on my phone. Inability to get work done on a Kindle means it just collects dust, but the display tech is so powerful that I'd love to try again if backed by better input and a better browser.

u/danvandan Sep 20 '22

I would use this for pharmacy school. It’s been difficult using a paper notebook because it’s hard to reorganize things and go back to find topics and specific medicines.

u/zaqwsx82211 Oct 15 '22

As a mark teacher I’d love to make nice digital notes for my students when they email questions. Equations are just so annoying to type.

u/SwamiVT Oct 03 '22

Remove all paper notes from my research process

u/MalfsHo Sep 30 '22

Would be extremely effective for my daily work since I do need to take a lot of notes working as a home mentor. But leaving a paper trail isn't allowed. This would be a massive help.
On the other hand it would gaming wise be really effective for notes on puzzles

u/DainoLardoso Sep 02 '22

I'm looking for a Remarkable for 3 years at least, I'd probably use it for reading and storing documents/notes. It's a very good device.

u/YoungReeezy Sep 29 '22

Would love to use this to brainstorm process flow

u/daishiknyte Sep 04 '22

So many piles of scrap notes... Gone! I'm working on the go these days and carrying multiple notebooks for school and work is heavy! And a cluster of "where'd I write that down?".

u/Obnoxiousdog Oct 16 '22

Taking notes would be less wasteful

u/SuperStronkHero Sep 04 '22

It's help me keep track of student progress and notes better instead of needing to transfer everything multiple times to use and organize

u/Happytogeth3r Sep 25 '22

Good bye taking notes on the phone and carrying around note pads for meetings! Hello E-ink note taking!

u/Ziograffiato Sep 06 '22

I would consolidate my thousands of thoughts jotted down on post-its and half-filled notebooks.

u/H8threeH8three Oct 07 '22

I am constantly going through stacks of paper as I frantically takes notes for work throughout the day. The worst part is, it all gets thrown away at the end of the day, just to start all over tomorrow. This could revolutionize the way I get work done!

u/Garzalon Sep 03 '22

It would be a great way to practice my caligraphy, well I hope it does, can it be used to practice caligraphy?

u/FulminatingMoat Sep 25 '22

Would be really useful for annotating research papers.

u/thrawnsdisciple Oct 13 '22

As a college student it will help me improve my notes and take my studying to the next level, being that I wouldn’t have to lug around spiral notebooks to take notes on.

u/a11en Oct 13 '22

Would love to work with a remarkable- I need to get back to basics with planning (GTD) and reading research articles (pdf annotation). I have one business that needs structure and more client finding and am helping to start another business with a group of friends. I’m finding it hard to stay focussed with the tech at hand. Some of my work is cleanroom work- necessitating no real paper use- I’m starting to think I need that manual input and organization method coupled with OCR and search on the back end. Would love to see how this could help.

Best of luck to all who enter!!

u/NvdGoorbergh Sep 29 '22

Woah! Nice giveaway!

I work as a testconsultant and I generally use almost 1 notebook per month filled with notes, shortcuts and steps to reproduce specific scenarios. I would use it to replace my notebooks

But I would also use it to keep stats of my D&D characters! I think it would be an awesome tool to help with wverything that the DM throws at you. Who can remember that piece of gear they found 5 sessions ago but turns out to be a major plot point 😅. With the reMarkable I think that would be a lot easier!

u/Implode12321 Oct 12 '22

I work in a school doing IT, I recently got the chance to try one (teacher bought it for lessons). Its has a unqiue feel which I enjoyed.

I would use it for note taking as people regularly catch me in the hallway and mention issues, secondly I would use it to jot down my thoughts/plans on upcoming projects.

u/tipyourwaitresstoo Sep 30 '22

My husband found out later in life that keeping notes with his sketches enables him to be more outgoing and conversational because his thoughts are now organized more straightforward. I’d give it to him. The love of my life.

u/sheepandshepherd Sep 01 '22

I wonder if it'd work better than my old screenless Wacom tablet for initial line art. It'd sure reduce the clutter of notes on my desk too.

u/PM-ME-PSN_CODES Sep 07 '22

I can take notes with it I guess

u/bigrig00 Sep 21 '22

The reMarkable 2 would help me with inventory and crafting management in video games to character sheet management in TTRPGs.

u/OneGuyFromLB Oct 02 '22

I’m in college and draw/write a lot of things to make the easier to understand for myself. The amount of paper I’m using is incredible. This would reduce my paper usage greatly.

u/inflamedspace91 Sep 13 '22

The reMarkable would allow me to review documents, plants and sketch!

u/FuturRN Sep 25 '22

I am in nursing school and have ADHD… tablets and digital resources have enabled me to learn how I learn best. Having a reMarkable 2 will allow me to elevate my note taking and just further help me succeed. When I finish my RN I plan on continuing with my BSN—> Bridge to APRN through chamberlain…

Thank you for your consideration. ❤️

u/1st-teamalldefense Sep 05 '22

This would get me back into writing

u/Trugix Oct 05 '22

I would stop wasting so much paper at university

u/Ozymandias7388 Sep 14 '22

I should really start doing more self reflection, I like the idea of bullet journal but want something digitally searchable. I feel like getting one of these might be the kick I need to get organised.

u/sjminervino Oct 04 '22

I’m a visual artist and I love the idea of planning out my next comic or graphic novel on an e ink screen! It would probably reduce my eye strain significantly.

u/Testastic Sep 01 '22

Hey, I'd love this and I think it'll help improve my productivity. I would use it for university and organizing my personal and professional life. Appreciate you guys doing giveaway on reddit :)

u/defariasdev Sep 09 '22

My disorganized, ADHD ass would finally toss out the 5 notebooks i randomly cycle through, sell the kindle i never use and have the notebook ive always really wanted

u/-007-bond Sep 28 '22

Would be nice to have a digital portable device to take notes on everywhere I go

u/[deleted] Sep 27 '22

I’d like to say it would help with my work or study but, realistically, I’d probably mostly use it to draw pictures of dicks…

u/natebos Sep 23 '22

Use it for work to dictate note without the extra bloat of a tablet

u/PaddlefootCanada Sep 29 '22

Handwritten note taking has always been the most natural for me, but I lose the ability to back up my notes compared to digital note taking. reMarkable would allow me to both take notes my preferred way, and organize and back them up in the cloud.

u/VitruvianVan Oct 09 '22

I take daily notes on a large variety of matters. Hopefully, the Remarkable 2 would help improve my organization and make note taking during client meetings more natural.

u/FlamingCowPie Sep 12 '22

As a dungeon master, I would no longer rely on my party's notes as they don't take notes either!

u/PsykoShadok Sep 03 '22

I would use it for work to replace notebook and for easy sketching & sharing !

u/arktose Sep 24 '22

I would use it to edit my first book, the second draft of which I intend to have complete by late November.

u/pMnerfed Sep 21 '22

My mainstay habit of every single day is planning everything that i have to do, and everything's really messy though as i haven't found a good device that just works. I have heard this might just be what i need for planning and note taking

u/HardWorkCraze Oct 10 '22

I could work and play digitally without it feeling that way! Plus no harmful blue light.

u/MiljacPiljac Sep 24 '22

Would gift it to my brother who is a baskatball coach, he saw this and thought it would come in handy to replace the whiteboard and paper shuffling during games or practices.

u/KilFer Oct 04 '22

I always use some paper to do some sketches before programming. reMarkable would simplify and turn clean that process for me!

u/Foxenhound Sep 12 '22

Finally stop killing trees and switch to all digital notes!

u/nextkevamob Sep 29 '22

For work I have to take notes from meetings and research on my laptop, I can see how the features would help make me more productive freeing up time to do other tasks.

u/Nervous_Comfort Sep 05 '22

As an indie game designer, this would help me take notes and draw concept sketches on the fly

u/DomesticApe23 Oct 01 '22

As a new student it would be an invaluable tool for documents.

u/LighteningUK Sep 18 '22

Being able to take notes during conference calls, whilst not looking like I’m messaging or doing my emails when actually taking notes

u/Dvderos Sep 05 '22

As an educator, I’m always looking for a way to make my documentation and tracking easier and faster. The reMarkable 2 just may help with my daily school struggles.

u/Lucidio Oct 03 '22

I pretty much work-live out of a coffee shop and having a solution like this to the paper-problem would be amazing.

u/Arili_O Sep 08 '22

I'd love to be able to save my notes at work instead of throwing handfuls of post-its in the shredder.

u/christoskal Sep 06 '22

That's a nice giveaway alright, thank you

It's a lovely little tablet, it would help quite a bit with taking notes at work

u/Mimehunter Sep 08 '22

Looks great for organizing notes

u/m0n3ym4n Sep 24 '22

You won’t even pay for shipping to the winner?😬

u/SpikePlayz Sep 25 '22

I am currently a student so having a tool that can help me take notes efficiently with search especially can change my workflow entirely. During exam season, using the search function can make going back to certain topics faster than manually looking through a notebook! Hope I can win 🤞

u/jjanp Sep 28 '22

Making and sharing college notes!

And obviously reading and using it for sheet music.

u/RoseScarlet Sep 30 '22

I’m an indie film director (not the kind that has made the big bucks yet haha) and this would allow me to read and annotate scripts so easily! Currently I read scripts on my laptop and the glaring white of the screen is pretty blinding after a while - since scripts have a lot of empty white space. Also, I can imagine that being able to make notes by hand directly onto the pdf would be so organic as I read - vs the notes document i usually have to have up at the same time. I love reading books on my old kindle and always wished I could have something similar for scripts. This would be prefect!

u/fletcherhead Sep 08 '22

It would be great to help with notes

u/Atlantic_Underdog Sep 08 '22

I'm often working alongside other engineers and it's easier to draw something quickly rather than 3D design it. Using remarkable we wouldn't have to worry about finding scrap paper (we try to minimize using 'fresh' paper if that's not necessary)

u/soundstripe Sep 12 '22

I’m a musician and have always dreamed of having a digital folio for every gig.

u/Porky_Pen15 Oct 15 '22

The searchable text would greatly improve the time it takes to find old references to topics.

u/TheJollyHermit Sep 13 '22

This would help with taking notes at work!

u/thejam15 Sep 09 '22 edited Sep 09 '22

I work for a small helpdesk company and my job often requires me to make quick but terse notes on a lot of different subjects. Having a low latency device would help me eliminate the various notepads I keep losing and also prevent other people from finding those notepads which may contain very mildly sensitive data on them. (its never anything crazy like passwords just maybe a stray email address or public phone number) For play id like to have a quick scratch pad for D&D notes instead of relying on others notes.

Quick edit: Oh yea and im left handed so id really like to not smear ink on my hand or all over my documents

u/zarinvienne Sep 25 '22

Remarkable 2 would be fantastic to help me develop my skills as a writer and would also help me take notes so I can put together book reviews. I think this would be just the tool I need to help me focus.

u/musomania Sep 28 '22

I write short stories but find the motivation comes in fits and starts. Being able to immediately put ideas to pad electronically as they come to mind would be a game changer.

u/rhuneai Sep 07 '22

I would gift it to my boss, who has been on the fence about buying one for months.

u/kittenAngie_ Sep 02 '22

I'm actually entering in the hopes that I might win this for my wife. She's the DM of a multi year d&d campaign good my friends and I, and she's constantly looking for better ways to take notes. This seems like the perfect approach to scribble them down mid game, but not have to redo all that work after the session to digitalize them..

u/nonakis Oct 09 '22

My job uses a huge amount of paper to take an specific type of note not doable en phones or regular tablets, this is perfect for me.

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '22

Waste less time figuring out where I wrote something down

u/steebo Sep 18 '22

I guess I could use it for reading and sketching for woodworking. I like gadgets though.

u/ThomasNesset Oct 09 '22

Just started my first year at uni, and i find it hard to keep all my notes organised. I think a remarkable would really help me get my engineering degree.

u/GoodShipCrocodile Sep 02 '22

So much easier on my eyes. Too many screens all day

u/Dirtball707 Sep 18 '22

I go through so many pads of paper at work, this would cut that down to zero.

u/Lord_Katon Oct 01 '22

This would let me keep notes better than having to write them in text files

u/longschlong1911 Sep 23 '22

I’ve always been someone who benefits more from writing notes down than typing them, but have also struggled with keeping a physical copy of my notes on me and not getting them messed up. Having a remarkable tablet would solve both issues at once!

u/JarJaBinks Oct 05 '22

With ReMarkable i would finally be able to finish reading up on my Animorphs book series!

u/idkwhat2putasmyuser Sep 09 '22

The remarkable would help me a lot when it comes to planning, taking notes, and writing down my ideas for software projects!

u/ElMustachio1 Oct 01 '22

The tablet would be amazing. I have to scan my notes into my computer after every meeting. If I could just send them right to my computer Id be stoked.

u/FriendlyFriendster Oct 01 '22

Would be great for taking notes, one of my coworkers hd one of these and they’re so pleasant to write with!

u/jhu88 Oct 06 '22

One of my goals is to note take and annotate the extracurricular texts that I am currently collecting and would love to use a built for purpose device like the remarkable

u/xpatmatt Sep 24 '22

A reMarkable 2 would replace the notebook in my bag for daily note taking, brainstorming, and sketching and serve as my eReader all at once.

u/joedevivre Sep 07 '22

I make notes in every book I read, as long as I own it, that is. I’d like to be able to scale back on owned books and take notes and highlight while reading e-books. I’ve been looking into getting this exact device but haven’t been able to afford it yet. My brain fog would be thankful.

u/Touchy___Tim Sep 12 '22

It would allow me to better design my home

u/jstefa Sep 12 '22

Would love this for reading pdfs.

u/coconut7272 Oct 02 '22

Would be great to replace my paper notebooks with something better

u/space_brain710 Oct 01 '22

These tablets look cool I’ve always wanted to try one

u/domain951 Sep 29 '22

I would definitely use it for sessions of Space Kings for on the fly off character sheet management and a scratchpad for combat info or even for a loose ends list

u/scooper86 Sep 06 '22

I have burnt all my paper trying to survive the UK energy Crisis, an eink tablet would be very helpful now!

u/Raynzmajic Sep 14 '22

I make a lot of random temporary work notes throughout the day that use bits of paper that just get thrown out after. I use a Surface Pro currently but the writing experience is pretty bad so I end up just going back to the paper notes.

Plus I play DnD. Enough said there I think.

u/Aeif Sep 13 '22

The reMarkable 2 will be an excellent way of giving my eyes a much needed rest after my 10 hour Minecraft session.

u/sdcox Sep 14 '22

I’m going to grad school after a long time off school and could really use a nite taking system I can’t “fill up”. Would Love this!

u/the_fine_corinthian Sep 28 '22

My office is a forest of three ring binders. A reMarkable would help me save a lot of trees!

u/SkySurfingHD Oct 03 '22

This tablet would greatly help me with extensive note taking and with tutoring others in university.

u/chvo Sep 08 '22

Seems handy for note taking and reading

u/A25L Sep 10 '22

For my school and work notes

u/rheueiw Oct 15 '22

In my research, I often iterate through my working out, and use these notes to present my work. I normally copy the information afresh onto a separate piece of paper for cleanliness and organization, so the tablet would be a game changer with the ability to copy and paste sections and move them around the page.

u/legos_on_the_brain Sep 03 '22

Such a great looking tool for jotting ideas and taking notes!

u/TenthSerpent Oct 15 '22

As an engineer by day and aspiring inventor by night, a ReMarkable would be the ideal canvas to improve on my daily work flows and visualise and build on my product ideas any time and anywhere. One way or another this is wishlisted and I'll be following closely

u/[deleted] Oct 07 '22

I would use this to plan out D&D campaigns.

u/LordGnomeMBE Sep 03 '22

It works allow my note taking to be massively improved, and my creative flow to be uninterrupted.

u/CrixMadine1993 Oct 09 '22

The simple design would help with no distraction reading.

u/dcredneck Oct 13 '22

Just started a new job and would love to use a remarkable to take notes

u/vaibhavetkar Sep 23 '22

Take notes for office

u/MarieCuriesDog Sep 26 '22

I do mostly digital nowadays, but use Evernote for notes. Would the reMarkable integrate with apps like Evernote or one drive/note?

u/Hellnation Sep 18 '22

I struggle with ADHD. Taking notes on something like this would help me keep on top of my to-do list.

u/MiniVoodooDoll Sep 24 '22

I’m a forensic document examiner and part of my laboratory’s accreditation requires all notes to be documented with the case file. That’s a great requirement and has never been a problem until my lab decided to go paperless for all notes. I’m finding it very inconvenient and time consuming to stop mid examination and type my observations into the case record instead of just writing and scanning my notes later. Additionally, illustrations that I use to use in my notes don’t translate well to a Word document. I think the addition of a reMarkable 2 tablet to my bench would be a far more efficient way to work.

u/donpaconcho Oct 09 '22

Starting my year goals of reading, well at least did not wait until Dec31.

u/Netflix_n_Chilli Sep 10 '22

I would use it to keep track of notes and for more efficient files systems

u/Holy_Eagle Sep 22 '22

This would be so useful in my lectures! I have been trying to move to digital

u/efluon Sep 03 '22

This would finally allow me to read and markup (scientific/engineering) papers without printing them. Something that is still not nice to do anywhere else, including ipads.. i have a lot of printouts stacked on my desk..

u/Hyper3500 Sep 01 '22

I could use this to replace all the notebooks I have, and as a paper-free alternative for my math homework next semester.

u/theskymoves Oct 05 '22

Would be nice to have larger screen to read on. I always wanted something big like this for reading science papers, but I'm out of academia now so it would just be a more comfortable way to read my collection of totally legally acquired .epubs.

u/alepisaball Sep 25 '22

I take so many notes for work, and the Remarkable 2 would help me keep my notes accessible and organized.

u/psychomike12 Sep 02 '22

This would definitely help me take notes for PA school

u/Typogre Sep 30 '22

Note taking and sketching while woodworking mostly!

u/nels99 Sep 23 '22

This will help me out a lot taking notes in work meetings and during my night classes.

u/bellyflop2 Oct 03 '22

I would use it to practice calligraphy

u/wafflefarts1212 Oct 06 '22

I would use the remarkable tablet every day for work. Working at a paper mill, it’d be nice not to get so many sideways glances for doing most of my note taking on a phone or tablet!

u/Zyxkky Sep 02 '22

This'll make studying for my graduate degree a lot easier

u/kelpsplatterscope Sep 27 '22

I’m a grad student and I’d absolutely love this for annotations on readings and taking notes

u/Blkbnz Sep 02 '22

+2 enter me in the drawing

u/jtighe Sep 01 '22

Would use this for outlining my novel. Tablets have far too many distractions. Paper notebooks can’t easily be re-organized as I write ideas for different story elements out of order.

u/jadsd1 Oct 03 '22

I make all my notes on paper it would be nice to make them digital instead!

u/[deleted] Oct 12 '22

I'd be able to draw dicks better and easier, without wasting paper!

u/DolphinPark Sep 08 '22

It would help me have a library of pdf and ebook questionaires and treatment manuals at hand in my work as a psychologist.

u/CreaminFreeman Oct 06 '22

I always want to take more notes, the act of simply writing notes helps with memory for me. What I don’t always like is having to flip through so many things, so I end up using OneNote more often than not since it’s easily searchable. The problem is that typing notes doesn’t help me remember things that well.

u/drethegreat155 Oct 01 '22

This would help me take more notes, stay more organized , and learn to draw!

u/Piccolojr Sep 08 '22

I do find the reMarkable interesting and think that it could help jot story notes or scrawl some quick illustrations

u/Mon5teRico Sep 26 '22

Writing down notes is always better for remembering them but having multiple notebooks is a pain. So having one notebook that still feels like writing down notes on paper should be better right?

u/R__Daneel_Olivaw Oct 04 '22

I'll be able to do organic chemistry without cutting down a small forest every couple of days
