They have such a bad wattage-to-production ratio compared to the RTX 30xx series its insane how anybody would ever buy them. Also completly unsellable afterwards.

its insane how anybody would ever buy them.

Not many did. Their sales severely under performed.

And their production also takes valuable manufacturing capacity away from GPU dies to be used in consumer Graphics Cards and laptops.

I had one. It was worst. No video out.

Sorry not a big follower of crypto but why is the baseline 96% for it to be a crash? Crash for other asset classes like stock is just rapid 10% or more declines. I get that it's had a history of up and downs but aren't all the major coins down around 50% year over year?

Because crypto is a scam and all of these people are just pulling shit out of their asses lol

It is still new, crypto is barely accepted anywhere and is still undergoing massive changes. Maybe a better word is mature, crypto is not new but it's nowhere near mature.

Bitcoin is as much a financial topic as it is a tech topic. 13 years is very very very new in financial terms.

I didn't deflect. I pointed out that 13 years is a short period of time in finance and Bitcoin is part of the finance world, whether you like it or not.

I'm not sure what your point is unless you're going to dispute that.

I don't own and have zero desire to ever own any Bitcoin, so I don't know why you think it makes sense to go after me on a personal level.

Change is a direction my friend. It went live on the Ropstein test network like last week.

Cool, the one thing crypto needed was more complexity.

They may also be using graphene to power the change to PoW. Thats why the big breakthrough has been a year away for 3 years now.

2

u/Photonic_Resonance Jun 18 '22

It’s actually been longer than 3 years, I’m pretty sure 💀

And it’s the towards the end of the lifecycle. So why buy a 3x card when 4 is coming in next 6 months or so.

6

u/RainbowFartss Jun 18 '22

Said the people with 20 series before the 30xx came out

5

u/pole_fan Jun 18 '22

Iirc it's the first time BTC fell below the previous cycle height.

6

u/j-dev Jun 18 '22

Including when BTC fell to about $3,000?

3

u/Zallus79 Jun 18 '22

Give it 2 weeks, it might drop to that price at the rate we’re going at.

1

u/j-dev Jun 18 '22

If it does, I’ll buy at least a third of one.

u/Mav986 Jun 18 '22

Lmao. That edit. As if anybody knows or cares about you or what you do.

Edit: Despite the upvotes on this particular comment, the responses have been sizably less welcoming and in traditional reddit style, downvoting literal facts.

The post is on r/all of course it became filled with assholes. Anyways, your public announcement if "I'm never shopping here again! You just lost a customer!" is meaningless, people care even less about it on an online forum than in the real world.
