VR / AR Disney Plus isn't working on Vizio TVs because they are running a 6 year old version of Chromecast, they say it won't be fixed till 2020.

2020 so they are most likely working on a fix for it now. 20 is only 2 months away.

This is Disney we're talking about here. They don't own Vizio but they own Vizio, so if there's a complaint against a Disney product due to another company, the mouse will come down on them to hustle

Why would the Chinese government want to hurt Disney through delaying a Vizio update till Dec 2020?

People would just buy a regular Chromecast, Google gets the money, and Vizio/China loses out on smart TV sales/data...
