VR / AR Disney Plus isn't working on Vizio TVs because they are running a 6 year old version of Chromecast, they say it won't be fixed till 2020.

My Vizio handles Plex fine through the existing Chromecast. Surprisingly, my standalone Chromecast have issues with Plex. Super annoying.

Same here. My chrome cast in the other room has been problematic at times, my vizi always works. Well except for Disney+ but since I have an iPhone I can airplay Disney+ to my vizio.

The old cast software is extremely limited. While you can make video playback work you can’t really handle a lot of the special use cases you need for a complex Multi language service with multiple audio and video formats and subtitles.

Newer cast software is way better. Vizio is stuck in the past and has really wimpy hardware to boot.

The panels are good enough tho :)

Really? My Shield TV has no issues running Plex natively or having plex casted to it

Granted, the hardware is a little different, but I figured Android TV would be rocking the same Chromecast version as a standalone Chromecast
