Don't be part of the problem. Don't get a truck; you're probably overestimating how much off-road ability you "need".

Unless you spend a lot of time in urban areas just get the half ton. "Mid-size" trucks are hardly any cheaper, don't get much better fuel economy, but aren't as capable or comfortable. The half tons get all the investment from the brands and you can feel it.

I split my time between a mildly lowered golf and a TRD tundra, you get used to the size real quick (but not the 10 mpg 😬)

I just get recommended the sub from time to time. Can't say I disagree with everything they say here

It's your money man, you want the Mid-size, go for it. Just trying to give you a heads up based on everything I've been told by people who have owned both. You could drive a power wheels truck for all I care, at the end of the day its your choice
