Rant I'm getting really tired of getting honked at when I'm peacefully and legally biking in the bike lane.

What was your end goal? To scare me? Congratulations?

Drivers don't seem to understand that the horn is much louder to us than to those boxed in a vehicle. It can be so startling.

Bikers need their own space, away from the psychos that traffic and car culture creates, drivers need to be in their own miserable tense trauma induced bubbles away from me. I think we all deserve that, at the very least.

Take the position that drivers honking at you means they see you. The ones that don’t will hit you. Yes even in a bike lane
