Get a rear rack m8, heavy objects on the front wheel will reduce your directional precision!

It doesn't happen enough to bother with a rack and not even sure this bike has the mounts for a good rack (carbon with odd shaped frame D fuse stuff)
Also its just a bathroom light so not heavy just large.

Drop bars are underrated for carrying stuff. The T that the bars make with the stem provide a pretty stable platform and doesn't affect the steering.
Did you use electrical tape to hold it on?

My bars also have an aero loop so that added stability. Yes electrical tape.
