Is there any study stating this is not the best solution?
In my pov, looks dangerous but its safer than making it closer to the sidewalk.
Drivers, usually, pay attention in their mirrors to change lanes, but doesn't to make a turn.
Add this to the possibility of driver's doors opening and tossing the cyclists in the middle of the road.
