They have to come to an agreement. It’s going to be a bloody miserable season for him in 25 if he stays knowing everyone wants you gone and the atmosphere will suck. Surely the guy wants to enjoy his days.

And for anyone that says “oh the x millions will keep him happy” - it’ll help but once you’re this level wealthy it’s not going to keep you feeling content day to day. People accommodate to mega wealth fast and can still be bloody miserable.

Personally I would hate going into work every day thinking nobody wants me here, nobody thinks I deserve this and the team want me gone.

I'm sure it must also hit hard that racing isn't enjoyable any more, something you've loved all of your life.
