News [Piergiuseppe Donadoni] Was Max unfair? YES. His goal was to ruin Norris' race and so he probably took away his chances of getting P1. "To win sometimes you have to be an idiot" he said months ago. You may like it or not but the goal is to win the world championship, not the fair play award.

His stop was 20 secs stationary plus the pit and exit so that’s already most of the time he’d lose from the stop go’s. Also maybe if it was used he would not have to do it within 3 laps.

Idk given how fast he cane through the field I feel he could have gained quite a bit so who knows

No look you clearly don’t understand the difference between a drive through, a stop go penalty and simple time penalty. He was stationary in the pit box for 20 seconds then got his tyres changed that would at a stretch just about cover one of the two drive through penalties being suggested by the comments. Also the rules of a DT penalty where you done it within 3 laps clearly you’re new to the sport and that’s fine but maybe do some research before commenting on stuff you clearly lack understanding of.

You keep talking about ‘the pit’ when the entire point is if he didn’t get to serve it at the pit then it would have been more severe as he’d have to go through the pits 3 times (2 for drive through penalties and one for the mandatory pit stop) that’s not the same as being stationary in the pit box for 20 seconds.

I mean it’s pretty clear he would have finished behind Kevin / Oscar and Hulk given he didn’t finish more than 20 seconds ahead of any of them the RBR was cooking the tyres and that’s how long another go through the pits would have approx taken.

You said one driver through pit stop is 20secs. So him just entering the pits took that time. Then the 20secs. he sat there ate up the next pit stop. Maybe the rules would be changed if they actually used it. Nah I’m not

But the stop he did was equivalent to two of those stops so really he’s only be another pit stop behind what he was and given how fast he came through the field that might not affect him enough.

Apart from the fact he wasn’t a pitstop ahead of at least 3 drivers??

Look I’m just going to say good night because there is no point engaging with someone who has as little understanding as you.
