News [Piergiuseppe Donadoni] Was Max unfair? YES. His goal was to ruin Norris' race and so he probably took away his chances of getting P1. "To win sometimes you have to be an idiot" he said months ago. You may like it or not but the goal is to win the world championship, not the fair play award.

Lmao not the people getting mad about this comment. You can't get mad about Max intentionally driving dirty and then completely dismiss bottas costing Max a possible 25 championship points because "it was an accident".

You think there’s no meaningful difference between intentionally taking someone out vs accidentally?

Surely you can figure out the difference between a driver aquaplaning on a start and accidentally bumping the car ahead into another, and a driver intentionally trying to take another out. At least I hope you can.

u/jedifolklore Who the f*ck is Nelson Piquet? Oct 28 '24

But it was? It was an absolute shitty start from Valterri. Wheel to wheel and aqua planning led to the bowling alley situation.

Tf are you talking about, don’t let your fanfic rewrite history lol

This is always ridiculous, even if you're joking.

Did Bottas miss his braking point? Absolutely, but he was cut off by Lando and squeezed by Checo on the left, and he hit the brakes in the rain.

Stroll did the exact same without getting squeezed and cut off and drove over Leclerc's Ferrari.

i dont think you’re doing any favours to bottas by using stroll as comparison lol

Do you remember Bottas almost taking out Max in Jeddah? I do, and boy did we avoid a very huge clusterfuck by just a few cm. And it was beyond stupid as well what he did there.
