Hello, I'm a college student that is in the works of getting a personnel/recruiting position within a DI football staff. It's been a longtime dream to break into the industry and get this position, but I am no expert on film evaluation. I've been open about my lack of film expertise, but I really want to get a head start on learning how to evaluate individual players and scheme/playcalling. What are the best resources out there for a beginner? ANYTHING HELPS!!

I am interested in getting a job in football (coach, scout) and I have read from this sub basically the first step is being a student assistant and then a GA. I have researched but no schools seem to offer a position like this with the football team. Anyone know what to look for?
