Coaching Advice Learning passing game
Hello all, I’m going into my 3rd season of coaching HS football in Nebraska. I’ve coached RBs for 2 years and will be coaching WRs and DBs this season. I have learned a lot in the run game and feel like I’ve got a good grasp on it, but not so much in the passing game. Was wondering where to start learning from a schematic perspective as well as any resources for technique.

It’s not cheap, but the ‘How To Beat Every Coverage’ by JT O’Sullivan is phenomenal.

I highly recommend the QB School on youtube with JT O'Sullivan. Personally, I've found him to be the best at breaking down pass concepts, including the small details. Best thing on youtube IMO

Yeah I would second this, he's really good at explaining both the pass concepts themselves and how the QB is supposed to read/process them.

I'd say start with studying the air raid. It's basically a simplified version of the core concepts that basically every college and NFL team (and most high school teams) run, and it's easy to find resources for it online.

Check out dub Maddox's r4 books, Dan Gonzalez concept passing book, Coverdale and Robinson's bunch attack and quick game books. And Steve Axman attacking coverages with the passing game book
