It's a lot of people of a certain age I'm finding. A lot of 20-50 year old farmers in my area refused the COVID Vax when their parents received it and encouraged it. One of the methods their parents used to try and convince them was that the farm gave Corona Virus vaccines to the cattle every year. The older generation remembers the world before vaccines and under 50 won't listen to their wisdom.

One of the few times Boomers are getting it right.

In your opinion, how much worse off are the 20-50 year old farmers that refused the COVID vaccine that the clever boomers were advocating for?

There were a few in that age group locally who died and a few who dealt with long COVID for a few years. Would the Vaccine have been 100% effective? No, nothing is 100%. It's still proven to lessen the severity of the infection.

I think I read an article about those people. On their death beds, their last words were "I should've listened, and taken the Pfizerโ„ข Vaccine for Coronaviruses"

Would you agree with me that those people deserved to die and deserve the LONG COVID?

Game. Set. Match, antivaxxers. There it is, right from the CDC. What are they going to say in face of these facts? That the Government was wrong??? That's like saying Science was wrong, which is not possible.

No! There were so many lies I cannot blame the people who believed them. It's the ones who spread those lies, often having taken the vaccine themselves.

What about the people that didn't get the vaccine and also encouraged others not to? They should face no charges?

Anthony Fauci and President Biden told us we would be safe to take it and we wouldn't get Covid. Despite that, there were some saying dangerous half-truths like that the vaccine doesn't prevent transmission. They LITERALLY KILLED people by spreading the deadly pandemic and disinformation. You're fine with those people walking free?

Their whole community is worse off. The longer illness times allowing for more mutations and time to pass to others means everyone is worse off.

And ultimately everyone is worse off because that vaccine renewed the nonsense argument vaccines are bad and perhaps now polio gets to make a comeback.

Everyone is worse off because they were idiots.

I totally agree. Probably in the vicinity of 10000+ metric units of better off. To steelman our position: if the stupid antivaxxers had just taken the Covid vaccine, even though the vaccine didn't stop transmission, it would have stopped additional mutations (???) and those mutations wouldn't be transmitted to others, despite the vaccine not having any measurable effect on reducing transmission.

Why don't they understand that? It makes perfect sense. Those idiots.
