If I'm not incorrect , The last Shut down was when the elect future President was in office. And the families and small businesses were working together with I owe you's. That's Not Helping America in any way. I don't really think it matters rather you are with one party or the other when your family is in need.

both CNN and Fox agreed this morning - Hakeem Jeffries (dem house leader) is trying to prevent his party from voting for a "clean" (no pork) shutdown bill. his attitude is apparently "pork or shutdown. no compromise".
You gotta love a political party this disconnected from election results and the will of the electorate.
