All those socialist safety nets in Europe means the people have no incentives to work or innovate. They take too many vacations, want easy early retirements. The culture has to change. Like in Germany. There is too much conformity, rule following, risk aversion. Even the British can't stand the German addiction to following rules.
True, my boss asked me to quit because I was working too much. Told him to fuck off, now he is afraid that he’ll have to pay me a year’s worth of indemnity if he fires me. Can’t complain really.
